I'm in block 30, and there were some seats that weren't STs last season. Got all manner of tourists turning up to games.
-
Got mine. If they've ****ed everything else up, it probably won't work at the turnstiles.

As I say, come Saturday when me and my lad make our way to the ground, I'm sure I'll feel differently. Maybe it's also time of the year - it's cricket time.

I'm with you. I look at the PL and often ask what the point of it is, if we have no chance of winning it. Why participate in a competition you have no chance of winning? The answer I come up with for my continued presence at SMS is that it affords me an opportunity to escape the Mrs. I'm not overly looking forward to going to SMS this season if truth be told, but maybe once I get my bum on my seat, I'll change my mind.

Any news on Mario et al - all seems quiet on this front.

Reckon Liverpool will be quacking in their boots for next week!

Brighton winning 3-0!! Burnley winning 3-0 FFFS

Loan with exclusive option to buy, ie Danso, seems to be best. Try before you buy. No doubt it will be a more expensive way of doing things, but that's the insurance policy of not buying a pup. Different from Ings, loan with commitment to buy. Different from Toby I think too, as the exclusive option bit would seem to suggest first refusal at the end of the season.

Can't blame him if he was told that. It would always be nagging at the back of the mind.

I think I read on an Augsburg forum a figure of 18m€ but that might well just be conjecture.
-
You could have Matt by himself, along with a bit of back up from Beats. But for some reason Cuco takes it for me.
-
Exclusive offer means what? First refusal?
-
Hmmm. Loan and exclusive option to buy
-
But he hasn't really burned his bridges, that is if he can eat some humble pie. Just say that the injury last year didn't let him play enough for clubs to see what he was made of and he'll show them this season. But I guess a loan abroad is more likely.

Good all round

I think I read (maybe the article in the Mail) that this is the case, that UA supply the shirt, and then they get sent off to have some fictitious company logo put on, which isn't sticking properly.
-
Why doesn't the club sell the shirts without the sponsor's logo? It's not as if they exist, and fans would prefer it.

If I am included in a boring apologist camp, I look at things pragmatically. Shurlock's post was pretty spot on, and if we can work with what we have, maybe that is what we have to do. I take on board Batman's thoughts on Stephens, but I haven't completely written him off (yet!). It does, as mentioned, rather depends on whether the manager can get Hoedt playing. Let's not forget, that at one stage he was being picked for the Netherlands.

Talksport saying in talks with WBA

Maybe the manager has got a tune out of Hoedt and is happy with the CBs we have. Supporters always want to buy buy buy, and not work with what we have. Well, that's one possibility!!
-
Hoping, if he doesn't go, he can pick up like Morgan did after his tantrum re 6 years ruined in 2 hours.
-
Good on him. Hope he has a great time.

talkSport say we turned down Boca's offer for Carillo. They criticised us for being stupid and not accepting. I imagine it was far too low and that maybe we can make more on loan deals.
-
Why? He likes a small squad of 18 or so, plus the youngsters. He's got in a couple of players - maybe he is happy with that. Maybe he's not. Maybe he wouldn't mind another player or two, but is happy enough if not. Who knows? You certainly don't.
