But they're talking about up to 34 more games held mid-week. What do big clubs play in domestic and CL games - 13 to the final of CL, 6 to final of EFL and 6 to final of FA Cup? Scrap those and replace with Euro PL, and that's still 9 more games. Get rid of 2 PL teams and that gets it down to 5 more. etc etc The Champ League being scrapped frankly is neither here nor there for us, given that we have pretty much no chance of qualifying. What seems really tedious about it, is that the founding members are going to avoid relegation for 20 years. But not sure many, apart from the owners are in favour - guess that's one of the risks when you sell to foreign owners - they don't really care about the domestic game if it gets in the way of profit. Wasn't it him who Chelsea tried to buy when he was 16 or 17? Or was that someone else? Seems that the academy of late has turned out a fair few players who aren't quite at the top of the game, which is a real shame.

Of the 9 clubs that get to vote, the proposals are that there only be need for a 2/3rds majority. 2/3rds of 9 is of course 6. And if it goes through, then I suspect that the TV money will be shared up very differently than it is today. That to me, is the initial aim of this proposal. The Big 6 will pocket a huge percentage of the TV money.

Look at our wingers. While they can all play on both sides, we have AFAIK Left - Djenepo, Redmond, Boufal Right - Sims, Tella So it would be good to sell one on the left to reinforce the right, as I'm not sure anyone would really be happy to go into the season with Sims and Tella there. I know that Armstrong has deputised well on the right, but he is more a central/attacking midfielder and freeing him up to play through the middle might be just the creativity we need.

Spurs fans saw that stats and claimed he was the best rated midfielder in the league. There was never a clamour from anyone to sign him, until Everton had a nibble and Spurs went for it. None of their fans would have had a second look at him had it not been for their blind loyalty. Think Danny Murphy summed it up today on talkSport. He said that Hojbjerg (and the bloke from Wolves) wouldn't get in a top 4 side. Spurs think that they are top 4 but are signing players that aren't.
