They should be on the BBC Southampton page tomorrow. South Today will probably show about 30 seconds later though if you are able to get that.

Yea it was, as was most of that area. Which is why I'm doubtful. I never appreciated Winchester was a no bomb zone though.
-
I'm not sure if this is true but I heard that both the Civic Centre and St Michael's Church were no bomb zones as they provided navigation points for German Bombers. Although I have my doubts just because of the accuracy which would have been required.

My Granddad on my Mum's side was a radio operator, but I don't know if he served during the war, never on the front line though. He had a large part in the Berlin Air Lift and got an MBE for his contribution. Unfortunately he was never happy to talk about it and died whilst I was 7. My Mum's Mum served in the WAAF and met my Granddad out in Berlin. Both of my dad's parents were too young to serve although my Grandma was a London evacuee.

I agree that both parties are acting childish. But I think it was up to the Echo to inform the charity event that they were banned, because surely they were invited along and at that point they should have made it clear that they are not allowed on the premises. St Mary's have no reason to inform people of their relationships with other organisations when people book suites for events

I doubt he will leave us for an Italian club, why would he? We are a club on the up which he has invested a lot of time into. We have the potential to reestablish ourselves in the 'best league in the world' within 5 years, giving him and Marcus a nice return on the effort and money which they have put in. Any offer could be an advisory role or one to simply maintain contacts between the two clubs. Apart from having to offer a huge salary to tempt him away I'm sure that any Italian club would have to pay a huge fee to break any contract if he was to leave us completely.

Thinking about it most probably. That or I have created a poor tune in my head.
-
To the tune of 'we all follow southampton all over land and sea...' "It was a sunny day in Southampton" "The day the Pompey Ship went down" "We laughed and we sang" "and we danced all around" "the day the pompey ship went down"

There wasn't really enough to judge, Antonio wasted a golden opportunity to put us 3-0 up though, had he passed it across the floor Gillett would have been able to tap it in comfortably I have always liked his attitude though so I reckon he deserves a bit more of a chance

On the rare occasions my uncle comes to games he will often leave the game in the 85th minute (never sure why he just walks home 5 mins earlier) but Saints will usually score in this time so we now encourage him to leave (or leave the room if we are watching the match on tv)

OK I'll do it. How many sold for Ipswich

I reckon it will be a decent attendance. I am going with two friends, almost had a third coming as well, but their die-hard ipswich godparent would disown them if they sat in the Saints end, so they are sitting with a couple of other friends in the away end, it should make a fun trip home =p -
Yep it just came up @officialsaints Saints sign Exeter City defender Daniel Seaborne on a 3 and a half year contract. See http://www.saintsfc.co.uk for full details #saintsfc

People I know always try and tell me about breaking news they have seen in the Echo and are always disappointed when I tell them I heard it a few days ago on here or somewhere similar.
-
Just on twitter: @officialsaints 20 minutes until the next transfer announcement. Check http://www.saintsfc.co.uk for details #saintsfc

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00pk61h/The_Grumpy_Guide_To_Christmas/ I assume this is the right one. I'm about to watch it myself.

I don't think any of our first team will leave in Jan. We have the money to pay them as well as anyone else, they are in arguably one of the best team's in this league and if they stay they could be going into the Championship on their own efforts next season and beyond if they continue to play well. I can't see anyone moving to Newcastle or someone else in the Championship to potentially be a bench warmer when they have the structure that is currently in place.

I think any team outside of the Prem would have official investigations called in and more than likely be in admin. It's ridiculous the difference the FA puts on the leagues!

Brighton so chuffed at beating us they have made a DVD!
Rocker268 replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
As It was Poyet's first game in charge and we were one of the teams to beat in the league at the time, not having lost for a month I think its only fair that they try and make a bit of money. Perhaps they realise we will be in the prem in a few years and they can look back and claim it was a great moment for them? -
My uncle generally leaves games early and Saint's usually score in that time, so if we sit with him on the rare occasions he comes we try and convince him to leave =p I agree though it does seem odd when people go down before the halftime whistle. I can understand those having to leave for work or a train, but if you are just going to your car and then go home why miss the last few mins?
-
Lets hope Stoke can now try and copy Spurs in the Second half =p

I have almost had several accidents on the A34 where a lorry driver has pulled out in front cutting me up doing about 30mph less than me and causing a series of cars to slam on their brakes
-
I think we did deserve it under the rules, but it is the rules that need changing. The people affected by the penalty are the fans and the players, not those that actually cause any club to go into admin. It is the same across the board, its the fans who are hurt not those responsible, the penalty should apply to the directors It should also just be a straight 10point deduction, (if at all) not a if you stay up we deduct you 10 now if you go down it will start next year.

Some of the comments on there are laughable, everything they have said has been the complete opposite, hopefully they will keep going on about how we will go down then we can laugh as we pass them in the league. After last night there is no way they should be ahead of us in the league
