I'm not sure the Southampton City Council Events Page only lists the big screen at Guildhall Square. It would make sense that there is something, but it looks like it just ends. http://www.southampton.gov.uk/news-events/events/allevents/queen-elizabeth-naming-celebrations.asp Does anyone know what time the actual naming will be as I am potentially busy until 16:00?

Thanks, I think I managed to get it just behind the update, it worked well though. Well done for all the work you have put in

Looks good to me, is it meant to update post by post or in sections of time (e.g. every minute or two)?

You never know we could win the next 3....

My girlfriend came to the Norwich JPT game last year and enjoyed heckling the opposition/away fans so much so came a few more times throughout the season, I think by the end she was enjoying the football almost as much as the heckles =p

Last Summer I had an hour flying lesson which was great fun, if anyone gets the option I suggest you take it! I also tried out surfing this summer which was good fun, I think you can get 2 hour lessons at Bournemouth, in my two hour lesson everyone was standing up so it was worth doing that.

I think the upstairs in the Mitre in Portswood is free to hire out, I might be completely wrong though

I can never understand why people say there is no point voting in an area because one party is guaranteed to win. If everyone who felt like that voted then maybe it wouldn't be so guaranteed for a certain party

on now. Roughly 50 mins in for those watching on iplayer tomorrow

What happened to all the banners? Out of 6 of us we got 1, there was no sign of the others, we were in two separate rows as well. Good luck finding one.

Although I disagree with the dig at students most have gone home for the Easter break. At least from Southampton uni, not sure about Solent I've heard Wahoo is good on Sunday's though, or Whitehouse. Although I have never been to either so they may be rubbish

Where I used to work we had a really bad report from a mystery shopper, due to their own incompetence. They tried to come in the exit despite it being half hidden from the car park, ignoring a giant red ENTRANCE sign above the front door. They then complained the doors wouldn't open until a member of staff let them in (as they are automatic one sided sensors) and that the first thing they were greeted with was the tills, rather than a welcome display, which they should have seen had they come in the entrance. The rest of the report was good but try not to make such stupid mistakes.

Suggestion for Ticket Office - PLEASE
Rocker268 replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
What they could do is rather than have the address printed on a ticket they could use a blank strip of paper which I think would be much better, it would save on ink and they could use cheap recyclable paper instead of tickets -
It is on now

For those of you with Twitter Astro_Soichi is worth having a look at. Especially if you are using Brizzly as it opens the pictures for you http://twitter.com/Astro_Soichi http://brizzly.com/#twitter/-/user/Astro_Soichi

Wasn't the squad valued at £21m in court on monday? yet they are still going on their estimation of £38m. Also despite I don't think you should be able to cut the debt by £56m. You would have to be mad to buy a team destined for the CCC with no squad or morale, plastic fans who can't fill the ground in the PL and no stadium all for £30m
-
Behind the goal in the £30 seats, not exactly sure where yet, I will probably forget to ask until closer to the actual day
-
But what about Tiger Woods?

It got lallana stupidly quickly for me, the only thing that linked him to saints was playing football and being associated with the colour red. it also got bertie bassett in under 15 questions =s

I was talking to my Pompey supporting friend earlier and he seemed pretty down about it, especially as our friendship developed with friendly Saints-Pompey banter he was very subdued about it all.

I doubt it will be up until the morning. I find that is the way with things like this.

Southampton is a great uni I am in my second year of Geography and love every minute of it. I am from Liss (near Petersfield) and find that it is a nice distance to be so Basingstoke is probably similar. This is opposed to my friend who has an 8 hour train journey to Durham. Out of experience though I was naive and didn't really look at reputation that much whilst applying, I more went with where I felt I would be happiest studying. Wilko is right though it has a HUGE affect on future employment. Looking back on it I now realise that your course reputation is everything at the end of your 3/4 years. I am fortunate to be in one of the top 5 physical geography departments in the country but didn't realise that whilst applying and really should have given in more consideration. I still have no idea with what I am going to do at the end of next year but I don't regret going to uni because I would probably still be working at the local Garden Centre if I hadn't come to Southampton Also I was under the impression your student loan was only repaid once you were on £15k and over a year, or am i mistaken?

I wasn't able to make it yesterday but the Sheff Utd game when we stayed up has been my favourite. The range of emotions and the electric atmosphere even in the family section was amazing, I always smile thinking of that day.

That is ridiculous they should at least be in Admin and should have been a long time ago. How many companies in this country can not pay their employees consecutively, owe HMRC and others millions and have the only sanction put against them eased? I have a nasty feeling Pompey will somehow have found a buyer (even if it is another complete joke) and announce him tomorrow giving their fans and players a massive lift before the match.
