  1. The Newcastle keeper has more touches than any other his team mates
  2. We are having a shot every 2.7 minutes but cannot score
  3. In AFL Football (Aussie Rules) you have 4 players on the bench, 3 reserves and 1 substitute. The 3 reserve players can be rotated on and off the ground as many times as the coach wants (this will be changing soon and a cap of 120 rotations per game is coming in as a rule change) The substitute player rule is the same as Soccer (Football) and usually occurs late in the 3rd quarter of the game. The main reason for the substitute in AFL is to inject FRESH legs and despite only being 1 player can have a massive impact if used correctly. What amazed me last night watching the game was we had only made 1 substitution and was only forced to substitute at the 87 minute mark. I know substitutions are more tactical in soccer but surely given the high intensity way in which Southampton play, we need to bring on fresh legs sooner.
  4. Given the break neck speed at which we play in the first half, I am totally baffled why we had made only 1 substitution at the 80 minute mark just prior to the 2 injuries. Surely fresh legs needed to come on sooner

  9. Have you already forgotten about Haddins tonne in the first test?
  10. Maybe not
  11. Great recovery from Watto and Mr Cricket. Now to score 100/0 in the second session to restore the natural order. Go Aussies!!!!!!!
  12. I really struggle to understand the mentality of getting rid of the manager 1 minute after the season starts. When are people going to realize that the manager can only put his best team out on the pitch. But its not only that, you are actually pre-empting that if things go slightly bad in the next 7 games, then Lets sack the Manager. How negative can a person be?
  13. Commentator: And they are running riot at Wembly
  14. That is Darryl Eastlake and I would imagine he is reffering to a Rugby player. As Ritchie Benaud would say, "magnificent goal that by Lambert"

  16. It's not fair - Lily Allen
  17. I would love the fans to attempt something that is probably impossible but could you imagine if Saints fans filled the stadium on game day each with a Rupert Lowe face on a stick held up to their faces and sat through the entire match in silence. This would create an eerie atmosphere and I would imagine get massive exposure. It would also make Lowe feel look and feel like a complete ****. Just a thought
  18. It is more than a sad state of affairs, it is bloody pathetic. These so called Southampton supporters should be ashamed of themselves. As far as I am concerned they can all f*** off and support Manchester United in the whore house of money that is the premier league permanently. I dont normally post here but I do read alot of the posts and this has really boiled my blood. The suggestion that people stay away from our home games because Rupert Lowe is Chairman is a disgrace. I fully understand the dissapointment and frustration of the situation but being a supporter means backing the club and more inportantly the players regardless. So a message to all the people going to the Manchester United game that dont normally attend, get behind the club NOW while you still can. I just wish I was living in England so that there was at least 1 more person in attendance. COYR
