  1. If his transfer fee can let us to keep Stern John or Rasiak, then it can be the wrong decision. He can be a very good player in League 1, everyone knows he is better than Wotton. Gillet and him can be the key in our midfield next season.
  2. No harm to keep him as the coach for the academy.
  3. Could be useful in league 1 as we always say that he is a league 1 player at most. I look forward to see the Gillet and Spiderman combination plus Skacel as left midfield again in the last game.
  4. Lancashire and Gasmi should really consider to retire.
  5. Just want to mention something that the people in ths forum may not know. Skacel said that he did sign a 4 years contract, but he took a pay cut last summer as well as reduced the contract to 3 years. He will be out of contract soon.
  6. Anyone fancy Watford being one of the best away game this season? Saejs's brace was enough for Saints to grap a late draw there which is brillant. Also this was the first direct free-kick we scored since the departure of Gareth Bale. The worst must be sheffield Wednesday away and Bristol City away.
  7. The problem is Reading away at Norwich is a Monday kick off, which Reading will definitely know can they still reach the automatic spot. It just shows how ****ing **** the Football League are. Why they still allow early and late kick off even one week before the final day??? Never mind, what is more important now is win the last home game.
  8. Not sure about that. I heard that Reading would like to have the home advantage in the second leg from the skysports reporter. If that is the case, they will have to try and win the last two games.
  9. I didn't see them play too much this season. If their standard is close to Wolves and Brimingham then we should be in trouble. If their standard is close to Preston and Cardiff then we should be able to have three points given that we play like against Crystal Palace.
  10. Norwich did lose today. Our slim chance is also depending on whether Bransley know how to win games or not plus how many games will they lose.

    Wotte OUT

To be fair he did gain more points than Nigel Pearson with a much weaker squad. If we only gain the amount of points that Nigel Pearson was in charge last season, we will be relagated with Charlton already.
  12. Then we should sell Dyer or Surman in January transfer window. I am sure in yesterday game, if that was Stern John instead of Euell who picked up Skacel low cross unmarked in the box, he would have scored because it is not hard as a decent striker.
  13. You don't know the rules. If Forest and us keep on winning before the last game. We will still be only two points behind them before the last game. If we win the last game in City Gound. We will overtake them. "A Forest win tomorrow and that's it" is probably the most garbage statement I see in this forum. Wondering why don't you know the rules? It does matter if that is because you don't know how many points the teams got in the relagation battle and have no idea who are they playing for the last 3/4 games.
  14. Does it really make a difference between Burnley has anything to play for or not? In our second last home game last season, we lost to a Burnley side that got nothing to play for. I don't want that suituation to revisit us this season again.
  15. Any chance for Kelvin Davis to save Ronaldo's shot? I only know the Porto keeper is very crap. The shot is powerful but the distance is long and is not going to the top corner.
  16. It is ****ing tight now!!!! Blackpool and Plymouth are not safe yet at this moment. Also Coventry and Reading have a big say about which two teams relagated with Charlton. Even Coventry can be relagated if they undergo four successive heavy defeats. Not until the final whistle on the survival Sunday, the result for this massive relagation battle will not be easily decided!!!!!!
  17. And the two goalkeepers as well. Most of the people on this forum believe we are selling quality players cheaply and then replace them with expensive crap. Is it a mistake to let Paul Smith go in the first place? Or Kelvin Davis is a better keeper? We will know after the final game of the season. Must be a cracking game!!!!!
  18. My rating for the players: Davis 6 Never a busy afternoon and kept a clean sheet. Skacel 6 Solid defending and passed the ball well. Saejs 8 Rock solid performance, won plenty of headers, great interception, blockings and vital clearence all the time. Perry 7 Reliable performance at the back as usual. James 6 Solid defending and put in some good crosses. Wotton 6 Can't pass, can't tackle, can't run, can't take corrners. However his very good heading ability did contribute to our vital three points. Surman 5 Good first half but a very poor second half Lallana 8 Worked his socks off, always will and able to help the defence. Created lots of chances and was our only playmaker today. Mcgoldrick 8 Didn't play as well as usual but without his remarkable long range strike, there won't be a win today. BWP 6 Did run a lot, but missed a sitter in the first half that could be unforgiveable. Euell 7 Did play well as a target man, suprised to see him coming off for Saganowski in the second half. Saganowski 6 Looked really off form at the moment, fortunately still had good touches Spiderman 6 Did what he supposed to be good at, passed the ball well in the middle of the park. My conclusion about Wotte and Crystal Palace: In my opinion Wotte should have made the subsutition earlier and should never took off Euell. Still a win equals success. The Crystal Palace's goalkeeper is immense. Apart from Kuqi and the goalkeeper, all the Crystal Palace players were poor.
  19. Absolutely, I will not believe that starting line-up. We cannot afford to have no width again. BWP or Ryan Smith should start as right midfield. Most of the Saints fans are crying for Skacel to start as a left midfield.
  20. So ****ing truth!!!! Don't have to mention the history too long ago. I follow Budesliga, Rudi Skacel was playing well for Hertha Berlin and helped them to achieve a mid-table finish as well as a place in UEFA Cup. I am sure most of Saints fans saw Surman was playing comfortable as left back in the second half against Wolves, we really hope that indicated Skacel can start as left midfield tomorrow.
  21. Palace, last time when we played them two of our goals conceded are individual stupid mistakes. James will never make the same mistake again. Size is not Alex Pearce. Even if Size played the same standard against Wolves, he will be able to give Kuqi a tough afternoon. If Kuqi is not better than Harewood then we should be fine. Wed, last time we played them, they were the poorest to come down to SMS this season. With a goalscorer in our team, we should win this game. Burnley, given that they rest their key players. If we can't beat a Burnley reserve team at home, our players won't deserve to be anyone. Forest, I am not afraid of playing their team. Just seen the goals this morning, two of them were down to very poor defending of Bristol City. Size, Perry, Skacel, James won't make those kinds of mistakes. When I am worry about is the "Sky effect", everytime we played away on Sky this season, we will definitely lose by 3 goals difference. I really hope any of our players can break this rule, just like breaking our must lose record against Watford.
  22. I am not sure will BWP offer too much good stuff when he starts, better suited as a super sub. If Crystal Palace is really a dirty long ball team, then Euell, Size, Wotton would love to play that kind of game that is what they are supposed to be good.

    Monday

It will be one of the four biggest games this season. The players who had ability should wake up now and start aiming for 12 points out of 12. In my opinion our destiny will be high rely on the form of the attacking players. If they can find form and score early goals, we can build from there and the defence will play much better. Everyone can see the ability of Saganowski, Surman, Euell, Mcgoldrick, etc earlier this season. If they can find form, any of them can be hero and 4 wins are not out of our own hands.
  24. Yes, it is an attractive and challenging investment. If anyone who know football saw us conceding two goals in 5 minutes from two corners, they will be amazed. I swear anyone who watch that will be determined to say, "How the **** can they conceded goals like that? I must find a coach to get rid of that kind of madness and tell them how to defend set-pieces."
  25. Do you think 4 straight wins are enough to avoid relagation? I hope yes. Also I hope Crystal Palace can do us a favour as they are mid-table and have nothing to play for. Plus I hope all the attacking players can suddenly find their best form again after Easter.
