Good thing with Kamaldeen is that he seems to now have a manager who sees something in him and has some faith in him. A run of games might be a good thing for him, he's certainly looked bright today. I'm not sure not playing a striker today was the best move but both KS and Tyler have scored so it's proven to be irrelevant. KWP getting forward a lot too.

And yes I know there are question marks over ABK but he's probably still our best CB on paper at least. Against Swansea? God knows. But we've got bugger all to play for in the League so I hope Juric goes for it with a strong team.

It's hard to know how to reset this squad. It looks like it'll be a cycle of get relegated - sell any talent we have - keep the dregs - dregs are good enough in the Championship - get promoted - sign one or two half decent players and a bunch of Championship players - get relegated - sell the talent etc etc etc With the squad as it will be after relegation sans probably Dibling, Ramsdale, THB, Fernandes and KWP we will probably still boss the Championship next year with AA, BBD and Archer firing up up the league. (I'm not saying it WILL happen that we will get promoted again but it's likely bearing in mind the players we'll have at least on paper). Then we find ourselves back in the Prem again and this whole sordid affair starts again. Short of doing a Forest, getting promoted and signing effectively an entire new team (and to hell with FFP), or doing a Bournemoutb or Fulham and actually signing ALL good players that make a goof impact, I genuinely think we'll be the new boingboing Baggies unless something changes radically. Too good for the Championship, too crap for the Prem! (OK of course we could go down and plummet but let's not think about that eh?)

For as shit as we've been at least the likes of Fernandes and KWP are trying. Not that it matters in KWP's case as his contract is up anyway. However The glut of shiteness starts at the top with SR. We signed BBD and Edwards and neither are getting a look in. For my mind we went out in the summer and signed players for our next Championship campaign, Ramsdale aside. It is poor from top to bottom. I can only hope something happens in January that can at least save us from being the worst Prem team ever. Whatever that may be.
