So I've been crying out to get rid of 3 CBs when there's no need, particularly when we aren't playing actual CBs there, then he actually does it the one time we probably need 3 CBs more than ever. With Smallbone starting in midfield. Roll on Rohl.

Rohl prefers a 4-2-3-1 according to TransferMrkt so he already has my vote for not playing 3 damn CBs. I looked at their forum a while ago when we were linked before Juric and Sheffield Wednesday fans like him and really want to keep him so that's good sign.

Well we're fuck*d then. 😁 But seriously last Champ season our loan signings were mostly decent (Downes, THB, Brooks, Fraser, Holga... oh wait) but our full time signings made little impact (Stewart, Charles, Manning) - the people making the decisions on transfers need to be better. It's OK picking some decent fringe players off Prem clubs, but we need to build a foundation for getting back to the Prem longer term - if we ever do.

If it's not working, don't keep doing it. Juric has shown no flexibility with this god awful 3 CB formation. Two games running we've played one CB alongside a RB and an AM. Both games we've been spanked 4 nil. For that crime alone, he needs to go. I don't like 3 CBs. I never have, it removes an attacking player or midfielder and replaces them with another defender. Against bigger clubs maybe that's fine. It would also be acceptable if we actually played 3 of our actual CBs in that formation. But we aren't, we are sticking to this formation and shoe Horning players into it. There's no flexibility there. To start today with 3 CBs on the bench and Bree and Aribo in the back 3 is just mind blowing. Liverpool will murder us unless something miraculous happens.

I hope he walks. As crap as most of the squad is, surely we can bring in a manager than can solidify us at the back by, oh I don't know, playing actual defenders in their actual positions. Said it before, I'd take Dyche even as a firefighter job. Not that I think he's come here now.

Turned the game off (tbf I'm supposed to be working) so I've been looking at next season instead (of watching the game and working). I quite like the idea of stripping the team back then plugging gaps with decent signings. (Though we all know what SR are like with their signings). All IMO of course. Likely Outs: THB, ABK, Onuachu, Ramsdale, KWP, Fernandes, Dibling. Possibly Downes, Sulemana and Bednarek too. I wouldn't be surprised if Sheff Utd take up the option on BBD. Taylor gone. Our team next season could be: GK: Baz, McCarthy, Lumley RB: Suga, Bree LB: Wellington, Manning CB: Edwards, Wood, Kayi Sanda CM: Smallbone, Aribo, Charles AM: Fraser, Edozie Str: AA, Stewart, Archer Most importantly we need a good manager. And a flexible one, not one that picks the same formation every game then slots random players into that formation.
