lloyd james made ali dia llook like a decent league 1 player, worst player to pull on saints shirt in last 5 years
-
agreed, never in. good save by james. I had the drog to score first so I was having kittens watching it, had to finish 4-0 though....

good viewing

Good to see james go, terrible player. eastleigh next year?
-
thats the one methinks, you get an extra half an hour to score the away goal. seems unfair advantage fo rplaying away 2nd. I think my head would have exploded if rasiaks goal in 2007 playoffs had got us through.

Draught cider, 330ml bottles of magners costing £3.20 are gash. Blackthorn is the best option, strongbow is acceptable.

i wasnt too impressed with wembley, was a bit of a let down (plasticky), and I preferred the old one. The atmosphere was poor and the train journey was horrendous because a load of fairweather fans decided they wanted to see wembley. It was hard to celebrate winning the trophy because it didnt mean anything. Leyton orient was good for drinking, really good atmosphere in the pub, train and ground and we came back from 2-0 to get a result. The next time i go to wembley I want it to be one of those games where I feel nervous to the point of shaking. ie playoffs or FA Cup Semi or final.

+14 draws. its not the taking part that counts, its winning at all costs.

realist.

im a natural winner, cant accept defeat. we'll never agree.

but the self righteous ones like yourself are ok?

no, i dont go every now and then. i go every week and have watched saints for about 12 years. I would defend saints 'honour' in an argument, shout from the roof tops i support saints and feel genuinely gutted that we are to spend another year in the third tier of english football.

50% of people who follow saints away, do it for the day itself, not just the game.
-
chanting and singing in a tribalistic manner, watching live foootball and drinking with mates. just so happens southampton are my local team, obligation i suppose.
-
brentford too come to mention it. hartlepool was epic, if too little beer time.
-
day out and a p*ss up, turned out that leyton orient away was a better day anyway.
-
fixed term contracts?
-
i went to every game bar torquay and i couldnt have cared less.
-
leeds did it from exactly the same position, they set a precedent that we couldnt folllow. But i suppose they did have a better manager.

and where do we play our football, in the upper echelons of english football?
