I was talking to a Leeds fan last night about our current situation and future aspirations and when he gave me their side of the story it reminded me of how lucky we are the moment. Highly regarded manager, the prospect of exciting signings this summer and playing the game in a way other clubs are envious of. We should be proud and enjoy it.

I loved Adkins and repsect what he did for us but look at the run of games we had coming up when he left..Everton , the Manc clubs,Chelsea, Liverpool etc... I dont think we would have got as many points after those games as MP did.

Some of our fans only sing when we are losing... i cant comment on Gaston really as i havent seen him play live so rely on people who actually go for feedback, but come on lads he is one of us. He has chipped in with goals this season and some assists so he hasnt been completely ****e. Def worth sticking with him next season to see if he can do better.

I guess i mean we as a club have come along way very quickly, with some of our players (and NC) being along for the whole ride, and having done bloody well in the great scheme of things. Personally I think right now, more than ever is when we need to have some balls and stand together behind the team rather than being so negative. NA was all about together as one... so I think now is the moment to try and be postive and hope that this group of players (who havent let us down so far and have shown great heart) can do the business at this key point. COYR.... I know we are all Saints but some posters have recently been too heavy on the moaning imo.

Some people here seem to have no pride in our club and to take great pleasure in revelling in when things arent going well. Lads, everyone can see we have had a tough couple of weeks but theres no need to to appear to be so pleased about it.

I take your point mate and its a fair one, but have got to say some people on heres attitude amazes me. It's our first season back and we are playing some amazing football. Youngest squad in the division, hardly any of whom have played at this level before and we are playing Man Utd off the park at OT.Yet some posters are still continually knocking the team/club. Blah Blah why did we sign Ramirez? In the summer no one knew how punch and AL were going to do so we signed a really highly regarded creative midfielder (who is still developing) from one of the teams of the last world cup. We needed a CB, so we nick one fron under Liverpool's noses. Some people should man up I reckon. It was never going to be easy.
