At least we would have had some history and passion involved in running the club! The chances of getting somebody like MLT in are slim, so this could possibly have been the next best thing. Personally I hope we get somebody like Armstrong in next year in League 1. Somebody who knows what this is all about and what it takes to win games. Heck, I'd even be pleased to see Dodd come back. League 1 might be his level and an ideal chance to start over for him and us.

Not only this, but you would expect the person doing the selling to know what they are selling. How can you sell a football club if you don't watch them play? Imagine how it would look to a prospective buyer if they started talking about todays game and Fry sat there not knowing what to say? I expect to see Fry and Co. at home and away games, talking to fans, talking to the players, talking to everyone involved in the club to get the best possible idea of what he is dealing with and what the club and company needs. 30 minutes before kick off and the only thing you can listen to on Saints TV is a message telling you coverage will start an hour before kick off. Money well spent....

Didn't we miss the deadline for points to be deducted this season? So any deduction will be applied next season? Thus making it largely irrelevant to our attempts to stay up this season.

Perhaps it shows that our new manager is no better than JP. Or perhaps it shows that our players are not good enough.

I think it's quiet because all the knowledgeable posters who have contributed over the years, the ones who may have a clue what's really going on and why, are bored of the pathetic battles that constantly occur on this forum. It's just a playground for a dozen individual posters to call each other names, make snide comments and categorise everyone into 'Happy Clappy Lowe Luvvies' or whatever the opposite of that is, as if there is no way you could not hate Lowe and want to see the club do well at the same time. So given that the intelligent, football related conversation has been drained from the site, you're left with petty little kids, which is only fun for petty little kids. And it takes two to Tango, so let's not automatically blame Alpine.

Nothing personal, but make your mind up. (edit) And if you need users to help testing, ask on the forum. State a time when it will be live and ask as many people to log in and talk crap as a way of testing it. Don't implement it a few hours before the busiest time of the week.

Will that prove to be good business sense if we get relegated, due to not scoring and taking our chances this season? You win games by having better players and playing better football. You can't do that if your best players are playing for someone else... who are higher up the league.

Indeed. I don't think I need to respond to Baz's reply to my comments, as everyone else has done that for me. I will though.... Today I received database errors, poor performance and an idea you implemented (Chat Room) failed miserably, resulting in no match day in-game chat. If you think this is progress and peoples complaints are unjustified I would seriously question your role as spokes person for SaintsWeb. You take peoples money in return for providing a service. Therefore you have a right to take onboard your customers complaints, not dismiss them out of hand as you have done now. If you're unable to do this or unable to provide the service you promise, you should find somebody else who can.

Bloody well should. Otherwise your whole argument / reason for charging goes out of the window. It was supposed to be so you could raise the necessary funds to keep the server and site running during match days. This obviously isn't happening, so you have to question why we were charged for something with no signs of improvement? I understand where you're coming from re. the stats you are using. But user perception is what counts and currently, there is no difference to the performance pre-charging.

As much as he seems like a decent bloke, he keeps going from club to club and failing to deliver, leaving by 'mutual consent' each and every time. No idea why people think he would solve all our problems.

The thing is, GB used to spout similar crap but you always got the impression it was because he was drunk, or an idiot. But Wotte saying this just comes across as the biggest puppet to manage this club for as long as I can remember.
