  1. Goal!!!!! BWP!
  2. COYR! We really need Wolves to beat Barnsley today too.
  3. Somebody disagrees with Lowe and he boots them out... can't be the same man, surely?

    Kelvin

You defend from the front These guys are faced with picking up the pieces from the failed defending all over the rest of the pitch. How often have we seen our attack suddenly turn into the opposition bearing down on KD? If we defended properly from all over the pitch, our GD would be very different. These players have performed consistently well, they are a few bright sparks in an otherwise dismal squad.
  5. Let's be honest though, they are funny. If we were not Southampton fans, that is....

More great news. Him and Perry, with Kelvin between the sticks, would be a good base to start from.
  7. I hope and pray you're right. I really do.

Absolutely agree!! If there is one thing we (read: new buyers) should splash the cash on, it's keeping Kelvin.
  9. Fair point and with a lot of merit, but given how far we have fallen and how much we stand to lose, a little bit of passion and belief could go a long way. If nothing else, it may restore some of the feelgood factor that's sadly lost.
  10. I wonder if the Administrators can exercise this sort of discretion? I'd love to know if their decision on a buyer can include more than just who offers the best financial package and most convincing sales pitch. History and known achievements or failures should be taken into account, but I don't know what the legal side of this says?
  11. Daft? No. Arrogant, mis-guided, ignorant? Yes.
  12. I'd go halfway between those two opinions. I'm happy for him to be involved, as we need some passion restored. But I want him to stay the hell away from interviews and stick to what he is good at. If you want respect, Mr.Crouch, this is the way to do it. Results and honesty.
  13. The thread isn't rubbish, Crouch accepting these interviews and making stupid comments is rubbish. Crouch could have easily said no. But sadly his desire to publicise himself as some sort of footballing power always gets in the way. I've said since day one of Crouch's involvement with this club, that I respect his passion and have huge respect for putting his money where his mouth is, but his ego and 'shoot from the hip' style will cause us problems.
  14. He will either go to a newly Prem relegated club and stay in the CCC, or will sit on the bench at a Prem club. For some reason other clubs and managers seem to rate him, so there will be interest.
  15. This is what I'm hoping. No doubt potential buyers were holding back slightly waiting to know what league we will be in next season. We now know this, so there are not that many unknowns left.

  17. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=11695 They will appeal then.
  18. Let's just hope that any potential investors waiting to know what league we will be in next season now come forth with the cash. It's now clear we will be in league 1, so let's hope things start moving forward in terms of finding a buyer.
  19. The way it looks is as though this £1.2m was part of a pre-agreed deal subject to both clubs wanting to keep the other clubs player. Things like this are often agreed in advance when a player goes on loan. So if Dyer performed for Utd and Robertson performed for us, we already had a deal on the table that was Robertson + however much money for Dyer. Total value, £1.2m As it didn't work out for either player and club, it never happened.
  20. Can you fit "We hope we will be back, but we're not sure at the moment, it's all very worrying and causing me great distress"
  21. How the hell would he know?
  22. Just like relegation to the Championship would be a fresh start for us. A chance to clear out the deadwood, get in players who care about the club and get in a new manager. Things will be much easier and we will bounce back within a year or two, we will walk this league.
  23. Not many left in Southampton either....
  24. Does anybody know a Watford Goal Dance? Like a rain dance, but it makes Watford score...
  25. It's a shame we never got the chance to see JP's style of football with the same players Wotte has available. The passing game with the likes of Skacel, Sagga and Euell in the team for experience could have been much more effective.
