Forget the two company thing.... Lowe should have put us into Admin earlier when it was clear to all that we were relegated, so we took the 10 point penalty this (last...) season. So no, we don't thank him, we instead suffer another of his stupid, badly thought out ideas that will haunt us for some time.

GM, you're an attention seeking, desperate little man.

Perhaps he said no because Jim Radcliffe is not buying SFC. Did you ask him about Jim Ratcliffe while you were there?

Paul Allen > Microsoft > Software > CD

Says the man with an avatar of an ex-Saint who doesn't play any more.....
-
But the script would change every day, there would be few actors you could believe or rely on and the crowd would end up walking out knowing no more than 'something just happened'

Just posted the same sort of thing in the sticky thread on this... I'm delighted for the staff that they will now get paid. Let's just hope priority goes to the working staff before the playing staff.

Great news... on a Friday too Oddly... and this is probably me being soft... I'm more pleased for the staff at St.Marys who will now get paid.

It's not Souness. It's Lewis Hamilton. Having decided that nailing one Pussy (Cat Doll) isn't enough, he has decided to buy a whole team of them to play with. True story. I'm ITK.

Awesome.... this forum is flooded with people 'in the know' and yet nobody knew anything about this until Sky report it. ITK my arse...
-
And it didn't go well for both parties, so no 'offer' was made and the agreement never moved forward, thus making the valuation meaningless. Sloppy, lazy journalism.

I would imagine because we would end up with yet another board hell-bent on screwing each other over. Any investor/buyer putting millions into the club is going to want control of it and a sit in the Chairmen's seat. When you have four of this type of person, arguments and in-fighting are inevitable. I think we've suffered enough of that over the years.

Is this not the online version of mutton dressed as lamb?

Fair point... just seems odd that it has been wound up so quickly, with no former notice and on the same day that SMS staff haven't been paid.
-
I don't understand.... we (SLH) sold 'The Saint' some time ago, so why would our misfortune affect them??
-
The only thing I'd add to that is no full backs and no leadership. Otherwise I agree. Although, I did say at the start I would give the new setup a fair chance and an open mind and judge it on it's merits and results. JP seemed a genuinely nice guy who was out of his depth, but trying his best. Wotte seems genuine and speaks a lot of sense. But above all else, I want to start afresh with a clean slate.

He bought shares. He decided Lowe was to blame for the demise of our club. He sided with Crouch. He ousted Lowe to gain control of the club. He then wrote a 'manifesto' that was, ultimately, bull shiit and a total pack of lies. He promised things he could not deliver. He brought in clowns to run the business/club. He continued to promise 'investment'. He failed. He ran away. We were left with a combination of clowns, ego's and mayhem. He sided with Lowe, despite ousting him previously as the man to blame and somebody who was bad for our club. Lowe came back. The rest, as they say, is history. Wilde is a ****. He is to blame for the demise of our football club. If he had not ousted Lowe we would still have a future... a boring, predictable future with no chance of success, but a future nonetheless. The position we are in is 100% down to the actions of Wilde.

I only wanted to say thanks for giving up some cash to help SFC....

As I've said before, I don't want to see Crouch as chairman. What I would be pleased to see is Crouch on the board with a voice as a fan and somebody who obviously cares. I think he needs to be reigned in a bit and he needs somebody above him to control what he, as SFC, says to the press and when. But we have always shouted about the benefits of having a fan on the board and we could do a lot worse than Crouch, who is willing to step up when needed. I'm cautious and wouldn't like Crouch to be the mouthpiece of our club. But his passion and love of the club, combined with his willingness to put his money where his mouth is, could make a positive difference.

I have openly voiced my thoughts on Leon Crouch numerous times in the past and have also expressed concern about him being Chairmen of SFC. I've also always tried to keep an open mind and avoid getting dragged into the blame game that is so popular amongst fans. But I have to say we owe Leon a huge Thank You for keeping our club afloat during this difficult time. Love him or hate him, he has continued to put his own cash into the club to fund players wages while we search for a buyer, with little hope of ever seeing that cash again. I fear that without this, our hopes of securing a future for the club would look even worse than they do now. Players and staff alike would have walked by now. So just as we would all criticise him for making mistakes, it's only fair we say thanks for his selfless gesture. Personally, while I don't want to see Leon as the Chairmen of this club, I would be very happy to see him secure a place on the board once we have found new owners. We need people like Leon on the board, somebody who obviously cares and wants to help. Thanks Leon

So to summarise.... yet again, bugger all has happened. Those ITK are not ITK. Nothing has changed.
