Yup, the website is knackered. I've emailed and Tweeted people at SMS (with thanks to @upthesaints), but I guess everyone is out celebrating.

AP is a journeyman manager who rarely cares for his club. He negotiates a long contract on a high wage, cries when he doesn't get his way, ****s the players' wives and then gets a nice payout when he is asked to move on. That doesn't mean he doesn't get results and good performances along the way, but I don't believe he cares about any of the clubs he manages.

In an odd sort of way, my feelings towards Pompey actually mean I'd rather see them beat Brighton, than the other way around. I guess it's because I actually care about that rivalry and do want to see us and Pompey play each other, whereas I couldn't give two ****s about Brighton. If Pompey lost every game and were totally out of it, it would be no fun.

Likewise... I know a few long-time Brighton fans who are genuine football fans and love their club. But they suffer the same problem as we do, in the hands of a bunch of mongs on the internet who seem intent on rushing onto opponents forums and acting like ****s. It's these idiots who are the loudest and therefore seem to 'represent' the fanbase, when in fact they really don't. That said, the sheer number of threads and fans of theirs directing this sort of sour-grapes at us does challenge my theory somewhat.

Gus said he wanted 100 points this season. If my quick maths serves me correctly, the maximum they can now get is 99. That simple little statistic makes a sweet win against a bitter club all the sweeter.

Winning today was the biggest hurdle and we managed to get over that, leaving just Plymouth as the only game I don't see us winning (I see a draw against a side desperate to survive).

I'd side with leaving him out against Brighton. This is the only remaining game I don't see us winning, so I'd rather give him more time to recover to ensure we win the rest with his assistance.

Nobody here is really ITK like the leaky old days and the Echo print anything they read on here that may sell papers, like a true red-top. So Alpine is right and proves NickG's point nicely.

I really want to see Forte and Lambert start up front. If we can keep Lambert in the middle, let Forte do the running and create some space for Lambert, it could be a dangerous combination. I also think he (Forte) and Stephens deserve a start after their performances at the weekend, but also to take some pressure off of the rest of the squad. Stephens should certainly start over Chaplow, who needs to control his temper, concentrate on football and remember he is useless to us if suspended! I predict a solid thumping for Charlton... 4-1 Saints.
