  1. If we win the next two, does that mean we're sure to win the league? Same logic.
  2. Big test of his attitude, being dropped to the bench after a couple of very good performances. This will show how much of a team player he is willing to be.
  3. Can you start slagging off our strikers please?

    Dickson recalled

I'm torn between wanting to see him given a chance, but also not messing around with selection experiments in our remaining league games. Games are starting to run out now, it's the time for consistency rather than trying new players out.
  5. I'm glad you said that... because the adverts you see are dictated by your own browsing history. So what have you been looking at in order to be recommend mature dating adverts?
  6. Let it go, you're on your own fighting with somebody on the internet. Walk away
  7. What an awful article. Even if what he says is true - and we can't rule that out, we have plenty of idiots in our supporter base - that article is terrible, badly written and doesn't seem to know what point it is making.
  8. A good summary and largely in-keeping with opinions from our own fans... including the lack of efforts on goal! The hyped-up attacking comment clearly wasn't a dig, we have a reputation for scoring goals and against Brum like many recent games, we simply didn't have many attempts on goal.
  9. The definitive answer is it makes absolutely **** all difference when he signed. He was with us anyway and remained with us, only fools with an agenda or point to prove in an argument would care one way or the other.
  10. It would make for some great 'We Own You' chants though
  11. I was fairly neutral about him until today, but he should know better than to get involved in football rivalry.
  12. Based on what, exactly? Barnard hasn't had much more playing time than Lee in the NPC so far, so I'm genuinely interested to hear your reasons for this belief. That's assuming we're aloud to have this conversation today, is it far enough ahead of the next game?

    Bottle Lids

It's the same as many things in life today - the minority spoil it for the majority. For every **** willing to throw things at other fans or players, there are 1000 fans who just want to enjoy their day, but the behaviour of that one **** ultimately shapes the rules for everyone as it's just not worth the risk. Sadly these ****s don't come with warning signs, they tend to look like a normal person so aren't always easy to spot. I therefore don't think it's ridiculous, peoples safety is important, I just think it's a real shame that such ****s get off on acting this way.
  14. DC and Lallana are two players who might be able to match the sort of intelligence and thinking NA praised Lee for. If Lee's vision and off the ball movement is as good as we're told, we need players who think like DC and Lallana.
  15. Why on earth would these guys be reading this forum just before tonights game, whether they feature or not? Even if they did, perhaps questioning their place might motivate them to make sure they do claim a starting place. The question is valid in any case and there is little room for sentiment in this race back to the Premiership. Nobody has suggested they aren't good players, they just aren't the best we have any more. Times change.
  16. A very nice summary. I'm sure they wont be surprised, after all we are bringing in one of the hottest rated forwards in this league and the same from the J-League. If DC and LB were truly able to compete, they too would be the hot property everyone wanted. DC I'd like to keep for cover, as you never know what may happen. We thought we were well covered at CB until we lost four of them to injuries of various types... imagine if we lost four forwards! But Barnard can go, he has a big chunk of his career ahead of him still.
  17. Thanks! Is it available on the good streaming sites as well as the dodgy ones?
  18. I don't think you're far wrong... I see DC's chances being very limited, even as a sub, Barnard I wouldn't be surprised to see go out on loan to a L1 club for regular games. De Ridder will be a regular on the bench for league games, as his strength and pace is a superb weapon for late on in games. Lee needs time and games, but will hopefully be one of three regular starters up front, alternating as NA sees fit. With only five subs allowed, once you've got Bart, De Ridder and a defensive option do you really want two strikers? I can't see why we would have Lee and DC on the bench if Lambert and Sharp start, I certainly don't see why we would have DC over Lee.
  19. I really want to see what Sharp and Lee could do together.
  20. Morgan for me, but as said above, it's about the blend of midfield. I think Morgan and Cork work well together and have the creativity to create attacks, which players like Lallana and Punch thrive on. But Hammond has the ability to secure a midfield when we need to simply keep things calm and stay in control, which IMO is better suited to somebody like Chaplow who needs just a simple ball into feet to run directly.
  21. Based on absolutely nothing at all... I think DC and Sharp might work well, if their supply is good. And yes, just a CB left now!
  22. Brilliant!
  23. Busy going back over every single one of his '17th, as I predicted, as I told you so' posts, editing them to read 'Promotion, as I predicted, as I told you so'. I hear he's down to the last three million, so he'll be back soon I'm sure.
  24. £2m?!? Clearly shows a lack of ambition, clearly shows how NC doesn't want to spend any money, clearly shows we're about to be sold. £2m! Damn, even Delap cost more than that...
