The only other option would be Richardson or playing an injured player. All three are equally as bad, IMO, but I'd probably have gone for Richardson. I don't disagree, but it's not because he doesn't know how to play football.

Agreed. Yoshida, Fonte and Forren with Jos just in case will serve us well next season. We just need to ensure we have good cover at RB and LB, which we don't at the moment.

I think I'd prefer a QPR loss. I don't really care where we finish this season, so long as there are three teams below us. QPR losing makes it more likely they'll be one of those three.

Nay. You can buy strikers, but you cannot buy the sort of positive impact Lambert has on the club, his team mates, the supporters and the positive vibe that comes from having him around. He is more than a striker to us and you simply can't buy that these days, it's a very rare thing indeed.
