What UK bookies don't check for a USA ip address? ie what ones can you use over here ok if you have an account that you can log into? Betfair has not allowed USA ip's for ages. I see that Stan James' new site seems to check for it as well. What ones definitely don't? Not that you use them of course - but perhaps a friend may do? Good thread. We've all got a story of 'I would have won....'. Paul Groves is still my most hated player. Made even worse when he became Pompey manager for a short time a few months back. Anyway this c##t scored a late winner for Grimsby (against Bournemouth) to win 2-1. I had this game down for a draw. My other 9 came in. It paid just over 16 grand for a quid bet. A close 2nd for most hated player is Robin Van Persie. Remember that game at Highbury when Saints came from 1-0 down to go 2-1 up? Remember this slag scoring with a long range shot with the last kick of the game (well over the allotted injury time) to get Arsenal the draw? I dunno why but I really fancied Saints for this game. I put 50 quid on them at 20/1 (yep twenty to one) to win the game. It was not as painful financially as the above accy but being there when that goal went in was painful. I almost couldn't move out of my seat when the ref blew for full time straight after the goal. This was THE definition of being gutted.

Is this the most open season ever? I've yet to see a team that is looking anywhere near dominant. Some very low win/loss records could end up in the post-season. Agreed - I've never been a great fan of going to games when it is sell-out. Too many people in the beer & bog queue. So much easier when there are fewer people in the ground. If Saints are serious about getting a new ground then go for a 150,000 one. Even with 100,000 people there it won't be full up - result.

Have there been any previous court cases initiated by him in regards to his photos? I'm sure someone out there knows how to find out. If there haven't been any then just ignore him. No way will every person he has contacted paid him. If 1-in-10 do he still gets a nice little earner - with no hassles of going to court (nobody likes having to do that). I was in the Coopers pub near SMS (was getting the Travel Club coach down to Brighton and had a couple of hours to kill). There were no TV's in the bar. Just having a quiet pint or 2 and chatting to some random mush at the bar. Then some bloke comes storming in the pub proclaiming that 'World War 3 has just started' - 'America has just been blown up' etc etc (basically such OTT stuff that you just think 'shut up you crank'). He insisted the barman go and get a TV and he did. Some crappy little thing with an ariel on top of it that gave a fuzzy picture. But sure enough - there were pics on TV of planes hitting buildings. Not quite as mad as the bloke made it sound but all the same - pretty crazy stuff. I then end up on a Travel Club coach where they wouldn't put the radio on. Think they insisted on playing some shtty movie instead. Apparently nobody wants to hear the news on the way to a football match. This was a bit clueless as it was what just about every single person on the bus was talking about. The atmosphere at the game was very strange. Saints won.

Don't worry. SFC lost were too slow. Tomlinson recently moved to the New York Jets for a deal worth about $2.6 million a year to him. I reckon we could have trumped them but now we'll never know... Brett Favre seemed not too sure about playing another season for the Vikings. It is now him SFC should go for. That really would smash the USA media into a frenzy. Every other story is about him as it is. As it is we'll end up with some Bolton reject who once played cricket for his junior school. Can't see this making the 7pm ESPN Sportscenter. Shame.
