1.

http://fantasy.premierleague.com/transfers/ Osvaldo has been added. He costs 8.0 million. This is the same price as Adebayor (Spurs), Lukaku (Chelsea) & Bony (Swansea). Ricky Lambert is currently 7.5 million.
 2. Sorry but you are going to have to do it on auto-pick. You do have quite a bit of control of this though. My Team tab / Pre-Draft Rankings / Edit Overall Pre-Rank: This allows to you to ditch players you don't like, move ones up higher that do... My Team tab / Pre-Draft Rankings / Edit Preferred Positions: This allows you to set the order of what positions you draft in what round... In a 10 team league with default settings everyone gets a pretty decent team. It wouldn't be a disaster not to manually choose who you get. Still need one more team. Or else this won't matter anyway - there will be no league at all!
 3. There's just one place remaining. Feel free to forward the details onto anyone who may be interested - whether they post on here on not...
 4. The one as above: http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/08/15/where-to-find-premier-league-extra-time-on-your-cable-or-satellite-system/ NBC have now got a channel finder: http://www.nbcsports.com/ExtraTime Put in your zip code and provider and it tells you what games you can see on what channels. I think we all get the idea now... Enjoy the season everyone. 3-1 to Saints tomorrow.
 5. Keep checking that link. They've added more info for Comcast ("Premier League Extra Time feeds will be accessible through Xfinity On Demand and not as channels per se").
 6. Sorry for always posting on this thread but you never know - someone one day may find it useful. This is from http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/08/15/where-to-find-premier-league-extra-time-on-your-cable-or-satellite-system/ - not good if you are on Dish. You'll only be able to watch every game online. Better than nothing but obv not as good as having them on TV as well... Were you can find the Premier League Extra Time channels: AT&T Uverse SD – Channels 690-697. HD – Channels 1690-1697. Bright House Networks The channel listings differ by market: Bakersfield market: 1180-1184 Birmingham market: 858-862 Detroit market: 1511-1515 Indianapolis market: 1511-1515 Central Florida market: 1831-1835 Tampa Bay market: 1831-1835 Cablevision’s Optimum Channels 470-475. Comcast Xfinity TV Unknown Cox Unknown DirecTV Premier League Extra Time channels can be found on channels 491-494. DISH DISH was originally listed as one of the participating TV providers who would offer Premier League Extra Time, but DISH has decided to offer NBC Sports Live Extra only (in addition to NBC and NBC Sports Network, of course). Mediacom Unknown Suddenlink Unknown Time Warner Cable Unknown
 7. USA were 2-0 down at HT but came back to win 4-3. A great 2nd half. Their 12th win in a row. Tim Howard was the USA keeper. Cropper didn't play. Give it time though...
 8. Checked again just now and WBA v Saints is on Directv on channel 494. We may be screwed though. It actually says 'West Broms' vs Southampton. Playing 2 of them at once could be tricky... Bring it on.
 9. 491-495 is currently showing as 'EPL' - I assume these will be the Premier League Extra Time channels. There is no game info on them yet. I'm sure there will be later in the week... http://www.directv.com/guide
 10. NBC (think BBC/ITV) have got the Prem in the USA next year. They are pumping out the ads etc. This one gives SFC a nice bit of quality real estate in NYC. Good to see them giving us stripes.
 11. Some teams just get what they deserve....
 12. Good news for anyone on Time Warner - they are showing 'Extra Time': http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/08/08/time-warner-adds-premier-league-extra-time-but-no-go-on-nbc-sports-live-extra/ Just as well cos that is what channel Saints are on for the first batch of games:

Date Time (ET) Home Away Network

Sat., Aug. 17 7:45 a.m. Liverpool Stoke City NBCSN

10 a.m. Arsenal Aston Villa NBCSN, mun2

10 a.m. Norwich Everton Extra Time

10 a.m. Sunderland Fulham Extra Time

10 a.m. West Ham Cardiff Extra Time

10 a.m. West Brom Southampton Extra Time

12:30 p.m. Swansea Man United NBC, mun2

Sun., Aug. 18 8:30 a.m. Crystal Palace Tottenham NBCSN

11 a.m. Chelsea Hull City NBCSN

Mon., Aug. 19 3 p.m. Man City Newcastle NBCSN

Wed., Aug. 21 2:30 p.m. Chelsea Aston Villa NBCSN

Sat., Aug. 24 7:45 a.m. Fulham Arsenal NBCSN, mun2

10 a.m. Newcastle West Ham NBCSN

10 a.m. Everton West Brom Extra Time

10 a.m. Southampton Sunderland Extra Time

10 a.m. Hull City Norwich Extra Time

10 a.m. Stoke City Crystal Palace Extra Time

12:30 p.m. Aston Villa Liverpool NBC

Sun., Aug. 25 11 a.m. Tottenham Swansea NBCSN, mun2

11 a.m. Cardiff Man City Extra Time

Mon., Aug 26 3 p.m. Man United Chelsea NBCSN

Sat., Aug. 31 7:45 a.m. Man City Hull City NBCSN

10 a.m. Newcastle Fulham NBCSN

10 a.m. Cardiff Everton Extra Time

10 a.m. West Ham Stoke City Extra Time

10 a.m. West Brom Swansea Extra Time

10 a.m. Norwich Southampton Extra Time

12:30 p.m. Crystal Palace Sunderland NBC

Sun., Sept. 1 8:30 a.m. Liverpool Man United NBCSN, Telemundo

11 a.m. Arsenal Tottenham NBCSN, mun2

13. This is the full version of the great NBC advert for their coverage (an American becomes Spurs manager). Superbly done and of course he has a very predictable nickname given to him. Definitely worth a watch. Funny as...
 14. I wouldn't rule this one out yet. Far from it. That No 11 shirt is there waiting... Victor have the current odds as: http://www.betvictor.com/sports/en/coupons/transfer-specials Transfer Specials - Leandro Damiao to sign for before 1st September 2013 - Outright Zenit 1/1 Southampton 2/1 Napoli 8/1 Tottenham 12/1 66/1 bar
 15. NBC def ain't mucking around - anyone in NYC actually seen one of these carriages? http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/07/31/nbc-advertises-premier-league-rivalries-on-new-york-city-subway-photos/
 16. http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/07/29/nbc-announces-tv-schedule-for-epl-matches-between-aug-dec-including-10-on-free-to-air-nbc/ Includes the current list of TV providers who are on board: Premier League Extra Time (every game on TV) DirecTV, DISH Network, AT&T U-verse, Cablevision’s Optimum, Comcast Xfinity TV and Suddenlink. NBC Sports Live Extra (every game online) AT&T U-verse, Cablevision’s Optimum, Comcast Xfinity, COX, DirecTV, DISH Network, RCN, Suddenlink and Verizon FiOS, as well as many other TV providers. Roll on the new season...
 17. Plus Directv say “The Premier League Extra Time channel range has yet to be announced and will be available in HD only.” HD only? Oh no! That's horrible! Hopefully they'll have decent surround sound as well so you can turn down the commentary and hear mainly the crowd. Although I think Saints are def looking UP the table now there is only one thing that counts now. Staying up!
 18. Looking good all you Directv boys 'n' girls! When I opened this thread I did say 'too good to be true?' but it seems like it is def gonna happen. Every Saints game LIVE on TV. Get in. http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/07/27/directv-will-offer-access-to-nbcs-premier-league-extra-time-according-to-report
 19. 6 very winnable games (I include away at Lpool - it ain't the 80's anymore). Ask Paddy Power if they will take USA based customers for this bet. I'd have some of that 25/1. For the usual 'tommy tankers' then nobody is saying Saints WILL be top after 6 games - but 25/1 does have a bit of value. I'd have some of it if I could. Take it.
 20. Directv still hasn't confirmed one way or the other whether they are going to carry 'Premier League Extra Time' (the extra TV channels that will allow you to watch every single Prem game live) or 'NBC Sports Live Extra' (the online version to watch every game). The best site (as linked a couple of times above) to follow developments seems to be: http://worldsoccertalk.com/ https://www.facebook.com/worldsoccertalk Watch this space...
 21. Who remembers this Beattie goal at Sunderland? I was at this game and at the time nobody really knew what happened (it was up the other end) - wasn't til you saw it on TV you realised what a great goal it was. The goal is at 1.10 ( if the link below doesn't start there):
 22. Channon's was obviously a brilliant goal but Saints lost that game. This one by Nick Holmes v Liverpool in 1983 was the winning goal. What a strike.
 23. Anyone into fantasy NFL? I've set up a league called 'SaintsWeb'. Looks like it will be a good one.
 24. As expected there is potentially a hitch for some of us. At the moment Directv hasn't confirmed yet if they are going to have the 'Premier League Extra Time' channels. Read the comments (especially by 'the gaffer') on this page. Good information. They prob will end up showing them (they are forever going on about how 'if you love sport you need Directv'). Why the drama then? They seem good at that. http://worldsoccertalk.com/2013/04/17/nbc-sports-to-take-the-premier-league-to-the-next-level-in-the-united-states/
 25. Palace are currently 4/7 so for everyone who says PALACE WILL GO DOWN how much you putting on? If you are that certain then this price must seem massive! A license to print money! The bookies are giving it away! If I KNEW something was gonna happen I'd lump everything possible onto it at 4/7. Bet none of you do... http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation Saints are 7/1. I reckon this is about right actually. Obviously we COULD go down. But probably? Nope.
