As far as I know the Saints v Yeovil game ain't live on TV anywhere in the world - therefore you won't find a stream for it. For the 3rd Rd Fox showed all the goals on a highlights program - think it was on the Sunday afternoon. Plus they were showing highlights of other games at HT/FT during the live games they were showing. That's prob the best you are gonna get. If Saints make the 5th Rd then there are only 8 games - obviously there will be a good chance of seeing them live.

We are not on US TV in the 4th round either (not that we ever expected to be). Liebherrs money. You (Fitzhugh Fella) in charge of it. I reckon you'd give it a good go. I don't get this whole love-in with Cortese. Isn't he just some penny-pinching business man spending someone else's money? He certainly doesn't seem to care 2 sh#ts about the fans of the club. Especially the ones that travel away. Or am I missing something here?

Yep the game in Green Bay should be good TV. It's due to reach a HIGH of -21 cent that day (so colder than that come game time & that's not including wind chill): http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/Green+Bay+WI+USWI0288:1:US It's mingingly cold here at the mo in Indiana. It's worse up there. That is going to be nasty. I hope to see lots of frozen, gutted Packer fans come the end of the game. IND, NO, CIN & SF for me.

Back in the 70's the FA Cup Final was one of the only live games on TV all year. You got that and the odd England game. That was about it. This made it special. Pretty much everyone made an effort to watch it. They hype was massive in the weeks building up to it. Blanket coverage on both BBC and ITV from 9am of the morning of the game. Everyone lapped it all up. You couldn't see live league football on TV. Only highlights on MOTD. The highlights were only of 2 or 3 games. Not every game had cameras at them. Hard to imagine now how great it was to have live football on your TV. Some people could even watch it in colour. These days are long gone and the FA Cup has suffered for it. Pretty understandable really but it sucks just how devalued it seems to have become for a lot of top flight teams. It's a hindrance for their aim of finishing 17th (or 4th) in the Prem. Get to the quarters though and a bit of the magic will soon come back. You only have to win 3 games to get there...

http://www.firsttouchonline.com/soccer-tv/ http://worldsoccertalk.com/premier-league-tv-schedule/ The Sat 3pm UK FA Cup 3rd round games that are being shown live on USA TV are: Macclesfield v Sheffield Wednesday Rochdale v Leeds Grimsby v Huddersfield Thought we might have had a dogs' of getting on but not to be. Good choice of games though. Not a Prem team in sight. Any ex-pat fans of the home teams here must be well pleased of a rare chance to see them on TV. Weather is pretty bad in the UK at the moment. Wonder what they'll do if any of these games gets called off. May be worth keeping an eye open...

Strange to see this thread on here. The commentators on the Saints v Chelsea game started to talk about how long it was going to take them to get out of the stadium and then another couple of hours to get up the A33 to finally hit the M3 blah blah. Almost as if this was some sort of hot topic that they'd just been hearing about before the game. They made no mention of a new ground but it was the first time I'd ever heard commentators moan about the travel situation from St Marys. Can you still drink at the bar in Southampton airport without actually having to fly anywhere? Guess they best get some extra staff in.

Ain't that an Undertones song?

Fair play shurlock. You had a player that got over 50 points on his own and still managed to lose. That was a bit of a Justin Tucker wasn't it?
-
That is wrong in so many ways (a parade of disabled people?) but must admit the thought of all that happening did make me laugh. Where exactly does this fit into the rules of terrace etiquette?
-
If you are going to stay til the end of the game (fair play) and need to get straight back to Waterloo then it ain't that bad walking to West Ham tube station (that is on the Jubilee line so you are straight through to Waterloo with no changes). It's a 2 mile walk (so about 30 mins). Map: https://maps.google.com/maps?saddr=Green+St%2FB167&daddr=51.5252647,0.0217205+to:51.5248125,0.0047979+to:Manor+Rd%2FA1011&hl=en&sll=51.523698,0.022745&sspn=0.023925,0.066047&geocode=FWVREgMdMpEAAA%3BFZA2EgMd2FQAACkx68vg56fYRzFEeGY63fXlpg%3BFcw0EgMdvRIAACmn6kfv-afYRzFDK-OxRKc9jw%3BFXVAEgMdvhIAAA&gl=us&dirflg=w&mra=dpe&mrsp=2&sz=15&via=1,2&t=m&z=15 Obviously it depends on the weather - and if you can easily walk 2 miles - but I've done this a couple of times before and it's way better than queuing at Upton Park tube. You'll be stood up there anyway. Def recommended if Saints have won and you wanna talk about how great it was. West Ham ain't as friendly as Millwall. You don't get your own queue for the train!

Yeah it's quality. I think 'Hes not only a scummer hes chief scummer' is my fav one. -
It's windy today isn't it? No it's not - it's Thursday. So am I - let's have a beer.
-
Yep - I reckon similar. We've had 2 tough away games - now back to mullering mug teams at home. 3-0 Saints.
-
Nope - Palace v WHU never did show up (yet). The dog show from Thanksgiving Day is still up there though. I know for the last day of the season they said they'd be opening up the more obscure NBC channels to show each game. Obv they haven't done that for tonight. Last game of the season we play Man Utd anyway - so no worries about that being on somewhere. We've become spoiled. We now expect every Saints game to be live on TV. Today it is only live on some perfect, professional stream. Can we get someone to let down the tyres of the Villa coach to delay the game by 2 hours. That would be handy for me.
-
bee-0llix... no idea when replays are available. Will keep an eye out today to see when Palace v WHU turns up on there.
-
LV - any idea what channel it is going to be shown on? All the Extra Time channels on Directv are showing other games and I can't find it on any other obscure NBC ones at the moment.

1v4, 2v3. Straight KO. Go to ( http://fantasy.nfl.com/league/1542360?standingsTab=playoffs ) If results go for you in week 13 you may be able to rest some players in week 14. Have them fresh for the playoffs. The fantasy season ends (by default) in week 16. The last real last week (17) isn't included.
-
With 2 weeks to go in the regular fantasy season it's all very exciting stuff (the top 4 go through to the play-offs). Current standings: 1/ shurlocks garbagetime scummers 10-2 2/ CiderGirl 9-3 3/ Rut 8-4 4/ PhiladelphiaSaints 6-6 5/ Taunton Saints 6-6 6/ Jimbo's sh*te 6-6 7/ Manc Van Lambert 6-6 8/ Elias 4-8 9/ Jonesy Jets 4-8 10/ Team Fail 1-11 As with all free leagues there's been quite a few bye week & injured players in a few starting line-ups. That always happens. There's been enough waivers in/out to make it interesting though. shurlocks garbagetime scummers we're coming for you...

It's 2.3 miles from Clapham Junc station to Stamford Bridge. So well walkable. Would depend on the weather I guess. Could always get a cab.
-
Yeah that made me laugh as well. You have access to the tailor-made radio commentary on Solent but then pipe that into a computer to link up with the Russian TV coverage that is being streamed. Top stuff. Any buffer on the stream must make steam come out of his ears!

[USA] Nov 2. Stoke v Saints in Chicago.
Rut replied to Rut's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Hate to disappoint but that clock is wrong. Didn't get there til about 9am. That is the early game on the screen (Newcastle v Chelsea). Ended up being quite an impressive day though. I say 'impressive' but was a bit lightweight really. Ended up in some place that didn't close til 5am (and with the clocks changing at 2am it was open an extra hour til 6am). Didn't make it to closing time... Poor show. Didn't even make it til when the clocks changed actually! Next time... Chicago is a great place. It has beaches on Lake Michigan so thinks it is California. It has tons of sailing boats on the lake as well so thinks it is Solent. Tons of pubs and a couple of it's CTA (tube) lines run 24 hours. Very handy. As a tourist it is well recommended. Anyone on here actually live there? -

(for anyone who does ever want to see a game in Chicago and searches...) Fado was good. Had Saints game on a screen. No sound cos they had the Man Utd game as the main one. Was very surreal seeing their keeper score after 10 secs with no commentary though - what the hell just happened? Does that count??? Had all the games on various screens with a note saying what games would be on what screen: Opens early and sells beer. Does the job. Website: http://www.fadoirishpub.com/chicago/ -
A quick look at the odds is a bit sobering though: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/arsenal-v-southampton/winner Best odds: Arsenal 8/13 Draw 10/3 Saints 6/1 6/1? That seems a bit long to me. Must take off the rose-tinted specs...
