  1. **If** NA is being dictated to as to what formation to play, he always has the option to refuse or walk. As he hasn't done that, I can only assume he is happy to play that way. Regardless of who sets the formation, nobody made him drop SRL and Gazza today - quite astonishing decisions. All this talk of formation, but the biggest damage was done by not strengthening the defence in the summer. We are on to a mullering EVERY away game this season. Every team will be looking to tear us a good one. We desperately need to win all of our home games but I can't see that happening. Spurs next and I fancy us to concede at least 3.
  2. Of all the nasty little ****ty teams to lose to... hate their fans so much. We have now played 6 teams from the top 10. Wet Spam have played 4 teams from the bottom 5. Having said that, we are woeful defensively and NA has some questions to answer with team selection and tactics. I'm not sure that any manager can turn our woeful defense around though. We may need to put up with batterings until Christmas and hope we can get some decent signings in then.
  3. This is very sad to see us shipping 3 goals (and counting) against one of the poorest teams in the league. Does not bode well I'm afraid.
  4. Geez. I am a proud Englishman, but are you ****ed or something?
  5. My company is looking to hire a male porn star. Must be able to **** at least 10 nubile beautiful women a day and must have at least 10 inches. Based in Glasgow. Interested?
  6. In essence he is correct. Rangers and Celtic are 2 of the best supported clubs in the world. They suffer from being in a small country and a **** league. Let them loose on a European stage with the ability to collect the same sort of funding as ManU and Barca and they would both be forces to be reckoned with. We unfortunately wouldn't. Don't see what all the fuss is about.
  7. Remember that day like it was yesterday. **** I can't believe it was so long ago.
  8. Reading that just gave me a pang of regret. How great would it have been to have him here now. Such is life I know. As Virgil said, and we would all do well to remember [h=1]“Death twitches my ear. "Live," he says, "I am coming.”[/h]
  9. Kind of agree. I have to get my contempt for their fans out of my brain in order to give a reasoned response to their team. I wouldn't think they will concede 6 at home to the arse, but I think they will lose. They could conceivably lose by 6 at the Emirates though. I honestly think we can tear them to pieces offensively, but there is a good chance we will be bullied out of it. They have had an extraordinarily easy start, so let's wait and see how both us and them are doing at Christmas. I saw them lose at Swansea a few weeks back. Arguably the Swans are the best team they have played so far. Wet Spam were woeful that day and really should have lost 6-0
  10. That is a question that is hard to answer. Sort of like "What is the meaning of life?" Joking apart, I find it hard to criticise him for tactical mistakes as long as he learns from them. How does anyone ever learn if they don't make any mistakes? Fergie has made plenty in the past, and still does. I remember some vague story about Richard Branson. An employee made a mistake that cost one of his companies a lot of money. When he was asked whether or not the employee should be sacked, he responded "Are you joking? Why would I want to sack somebody with millions of pounds worth of experience?" Not sure if the story is true, my recollection of it is fairly vague, but you get my drift...
  11. He is allowed 42 tactical mistakes.
  12. Agree. This is what I thought anyway. One of the worst prem games I have seen for a while. W Spam poor but qpr ****e. Infact their play reminded me very much of ours during relegation from the prem last time. TBH, I think I'd rather see us relegated than have to watch the boring dross W Spam serve up. Just my opinion though.
  13. Agree completely. I was going on purely football ability. He was imperious for Chelsea v the arsenal on sat
  14. Queue lots of abuse but John Terry please. Class above most central defenders out there.
  15. Yep, ultimately it is his fault. The buck stops with him. Unfair... maybe. But that's how it works.
  16. Expected some thumpings away from home as we are so lightweight. Was quite pleased to get away with a 3-1 at Goodison in the end. Wasn't expecting us to be so promising offensively and this gives me hope we can beat some of the teams in our "escape relegation" mini league which is all that counts this season really
  17. It is Pish
  18. Although I said earlier I would never forget what he did, I actually have At least the finer details escape me. Seem to remember 2 players getting sent off (was it Charlie George and Stevie Williams?) and loads of others getting booked. Mr Bailey was attributed with all the blame for said happenings.
  19. A scholar and a gentleman! RIP John another one of the old school gone.
  20. Hey chocco Boxo don't put in for your English GCSE any time soon. That arguably wins the prize for most poorly worded thread title ever and there have been some bad ones! Anyway, would have to go with the Everton, Derby and Brighton suggestions. All bastards who will never be forgiven.Always hate losing to Blackburn too. This is 1. Because they are a very dislikeable small northern ****ehole and 2. Because I will never forget what that tosser John Bailey did to us. He got a wickedly bad reception every time he played at the Dell for years after I seem to remember.
  21. Agreed. I'll probably be ridiculed for this though, but I actually don't mind AH. Lawro on the other hand appears to offer no added value whatsoever. Saggy just says what he always says. They this, they that etc just like he used to say when he was our manager :-)

  23. I dunno. It's not all Villa fans is it? As they say, every club has its numpties. These things are magnified as its mainly the numpties who write ill informed crap on club message boards. I was in the boozer with some mates and a bunch of Villa fans came in. They had nothing but good things to say about us.
  24. I don't reckon it was proof read at all
  25. Rickie, Punch, Nate and Nige all make the grade http://soccernet.espn.go.com/columns/story/_/id/1168472/premier-league-team-of-the-week:-september-23,-2012?cc=5739 Not sure about some of the journalism on there though
