The board come over as weak. They don't inspire any confidence. The statement today should at least have drawn a line in the sand along the lines of "If anyone thinks our players are an easy target, you have another think coming" But all we get is wishy washy rubbish. And I love that they admit they are only now just beginning to look for a replacement. Seems pretty clueless to me.

Have to admit I don't know too much about him. WHy would he be such a great appointment? I know Basel beat Chelski twice in the CL and that is an achievement, but what else makes you so keen? (Honest question - not a saracastic one)

Personally feel that after pochettino, having mcclaren would be like going back to the dark ages. Really would not welcome him at the club.
