  1. Doesn't make any sense to me. You say our squad is bloated but happy to see him go as long as he's replaced?
  2. [video=youtube;X26SOW6-SMI] Great song, but can't understand a word of glaswegian :-) Apparently lyrics are: "Oh Brendan said, we’ve got to play him in centre mid,Oooooh words can’t describe, when we see him in the green and white. His hair is fine, he scores belters all the time. That’s why we'll sing this song, for Stuart Armstrong!" Can't figure out how we are going to adapt it for us though
  3. Said exact same thing to my nipper watching the game last night. So true. Regarding Henderson, is it my anti-Liverpool bias, or is he pretty **** in almost every game? Pedestrian, can't pass, can't hold the ball. I don't get it at all.
  4. I'm probably biased but Golac will always be a legend for me. Ossie stayed with us when we went down and helped us win the cup. Bobby scored the most important goal in our history. Nicky Holmes. Stevie Moran. And what about Big Lawrie? Why's he not a legend?
  5. I remember he was particularly s-hite in the semi and seemed to not really give a damn that day
  6. It was true then and it's just as true now
  7. I know you're trying to be funny, but this is the type of post I really hate on here. No value add just cynicism. Why don't you suggest how things can be improved rather than do the oh so easy let's point out how crap everything is post. Anyone no brain can do that
  8. I support whatever team is playing against Liverpool
  9. Yes. Swans fans love him, saying he is the only one to come out with head held high this season for them
  10. Fabianski would be a more than capable replacement
  11. god how low are you already preparing to stoop
  12. Agreed, but I think that's what made him so successful. He certainly had to be a character to handle some of the big names and rogues he had in his teams, and to be able to make them into a team.
  13. I finally got round to reading Lawrie's book. I thought it was fabulous. Greatest manager we ever had by a country mile. Reading the cup final chapter brought back so many great memories. Relived it all on the train! Recommended reading.
  14. Lawrie is the saviour. Always will be
  15. Bloody hell, what an absolutely fabulous team we had in those days. Brilliant
  16. Regarding MP: If it looks like ****, smells like ****, and feels like ****, you don't have to actually eat it to know it's ****. Why have we got to the stage where we are all chomping on ****?
  17. Surely not being serious? Drop of a hat meaning it's been dragging on as long as the van d-ick saga ?
  18. Surely that works both ways in that we wouldn't be stumping up the whole fee in one go for any signings we were to make either?
  19. So let's see how Mr van d-ick gets on tonight. On paper, it's an ideal game to start for him
  20. I'd welcome him. It's a promising signing if it happens. Sounds just what we need for a one up striker.
  21. Isn't this thread supposed to be about January transfer rumours? Not too interested in people's views on Liverpool or Southampton for that matter...
  22. Both City and Chelsk have been showing interest in this guy. Would be a good catch I think.
  23. OldNick - Do you seriously believe pep gives a flying **** about Redmond's lack of progress?
  24. You seriously believe pep gives a flying **** about Redmond's lack of progress?
  25. I find it ironic that we only got van d-ick because the scouse tapped up lovren. Now they have tapped up van d-ick. If they didn't have such a **** scouting team, they could have saved themselves 3 years of pretending lovren is any good and about £80 odd million in fees by getting Van D-ick in the first place
