I thought that this morning when I heard it too. Also, it's likely Saints and Chelsea have been in constant dialogue about Lavia and that's what enabled us to keep rejecting the scouse offers

Lots of Scouse sites boasting Lavia is not training with the squad today. Whether that's because a bid has been accepted or because Lavia is pushing for the move, I don't know

Looks like Livra deal is £31m upfront with £5m add ons, not the final £40m I think was being reported.
