If I remember correctly the PKF list of creditors was not an exact list more a best guess with a request for people who thought were owed money to contact them. Possibly.

As I understand it the loan would be a short term one and would be secured against one of the future parachute payments with the council requiring agreements from the league(s) that they would be paid the money directly to them. The obvious problems I can see are: 1) When it actually appears they might want to use the loan offer the council may get cold feet and try and find a facesaving way out. 2) Having got the loan they might still go pop before the relevant parachute payment is made. Are the council covered for this?

Remember, in the manner of M&S adverts, this is not any budget, this is the PST rubustest budget.

Interesting article on BMI, especially for those of us on the tall side. Agree's with something I have thought which is that the square in the BMI is bias against taller people. My Saturday post weigh in update... Definitely losing weight on my 4:3 (like 5:2 but an extra days fast a week) as down 1kg on the week and now over half way to my target, though aim of getting there before my birthday looks remote but need another week really to try and get a better idea of rate. Know from last time I dieted that on the same diet amount lost each week reduces as you get closer to goal so though current line is just about pointing towards my goal its almost certainly going to diverge as I get closer.

Not to get side tracked again but if going into admin was the only real sensible response to what Barclays did then I think you could get away with saying they put us into admin. If you push someone off a cliff the fall may be what killed them but that does not mean its not your fault.

A question with the proposed tesco option is how are tesco paying. Would they be buying the part where their store would be or paying rent? Though the deal is not with PKF who are the party in the court case can chinny force one of the parties that are privy to the negotiations to testify? if purchased then would not expect judge to agree to a lower price, if rent then he might but would add a condition that chinny paid from rent till his secured charge is cleared?

But still not clear if the 31st is a deferral of the short meeting to decide on a date to resume or it is the resumption? Maybe PKF said to Chinny, "Can we try again on the 31st?", Chinny says yes and its then rubber stamped by the judge? Alternatively in the judges interest to get them to reach a decision without him so maybe they just pushed back the decide a date meeting a bit more to hope they can.
