  1. Had to draw the line at some point. I can add them in a game or so if its still close.
  2. As I mentioned in the remaining games for the bottom teams thread I think this one is more appropriate now 9th Place, Swansea: Played 32. 41 Points. 20th April: Swansea v SAINTS 27th April: Chelsea v Swansea 5th May: Swansea v Man City 7th May: Wigan v Swansea 12th May: Man U v Swansea 19th May: Swansea v Fulham 10th Place, Fulham: Played 32. 40 Points 17th April: Fulham v Chelsea 20th April: Fulham v Arsenal 27th April: Everton v Fulham 4th May: Fulham v Reading 12th May: Fulham v Liverpool 19th May: Swansea v Fulham 11th Place, SAINTS: Played 33. 38 Points 20th April: Swansea v SAINTS 27th April: SAINTS v West Brom 4th May: Spurs v SAINTS 12th May: Sunderland v SAINTS 19th May: SAINTS v Stoke 12th Place, West Ham: Played 32. 38 Points 17th April: West Ham v Man U 20th April: West Ham v Wigan 27th April: Man City v West Ham 4th May: West Ham v Newcastle 12th May: Everton v West Ham 19th May: West Ham v Reading My opinion is that both Fulham and Swansea have harder games coming up that us. West ham have got a couple against teams in the relegation zone which could be a blessing or a curse depending on how tight it is down there when they meet them. I think we have a good chance of finishing 10th and a reasonable chance of finishing 9th.
  3. I think this thread needs to be unstuck and replaced with one called "Remaining Fixtures for Teams Between 9th and 12th".
  4. They never usually show the matches that was live on sky/espn as their main match and with only 4 matches today its really just a one in 3 chance.
  5. I think its good that the BBC are fulfilling their obligations to the less able by employing a numerically dyslexic pundit.
  6. Problem is they were concentrating only on the goal line where having a couple of sensors is going to be feasible and where a goalmouth scramble might hide the ball from hawkeyes cameras. Its a pity they were not looking for a system to recording every time the ball went out of the playing area as the number of crucial times where a decision about if the ball was kept in play far outnumber the did it or didn't it cross the goal line situations.
  7. Scunny leading 2-1 as well.
  8. I have been updating mine. Generally doing well, lost 3.8 stone since November, but probably going to miss my target due to a few less successful weeks but it was always going to be difficult.
  9. Or possibly many pompey fans surreptitiously read this thread for their information rather than read nofacts's paragraphgasms in the news?
  10. Logically the League have set a date for the purposes of making sure that clubs getting a traditional points deduction do not remove the effect of the point deduction by taking it at a point at which they are, or are almost certain to be, relegated. It would be odd therefore if they did not apply the same deadline to pompey, especially as it would appear that their almost certain relegation anyway would negate the effect of the points deduction.
  11. I believe the train he was on got lost or something...
  12. I would say that the highlighted bit is possibly of more relevance as the points penalty was decided by the league board for when pompey exit admin so easy to argue it is a penalty imposed by the board.
  13. Probably, but I think we can guarantee from past events that there will be a number of unexpected twists and turns before we get there.
  14. Has anyone asked the PDT if they will continue to give out the lifetime season tickets even though they have been through about 3 changes of company since they were first issued?
  15. I can see how they may have come within an inch of getting the loan refused but unless you are head deep in "Trust or Bust" I can't see how that would immediately lead to liquidation. As I see it if the PDT were forced to pull out then the FL would very quickly have to accept the Harris bid and given its seal of approval by everyone else it should easily happen before the deadline.
  16. Ah the point is it is not certain that they would be liquidated if the judge rules against the sale. Chinny just has to point out that he has reached agreement with the other bidder and should the PST bid not be successful due to the judges ruling he is sure the other bid can be rushed through in time to save pompey once the league realise that PST bid is dead in the water.
  17. Of course all the fun today will not count for a hill of beans if the court case goes against them. I wonder if PKF try to use the councils "Well it would cost millions to clear the site and we could put up a couple of houses on it afterwards if we are lucky" valuation estimates? Not sure they will stand up to too much scrutiny, especially as said earlier they previously appeared to have been happy with a plan with far more dwellings on the same site.
  18. But they will get some nice new housing.
  19. I assume that that is where the guarantee from the property developer comes in.
  20. You missed: Bell End
  21. We are in the usual 'no club has ever been in this situation before so they are making up the rules as they go along' territory so who knows?
  22. Just a pity that most of the other team at the bottom playing today got 3. One step forwards and three steps back as they say.
  23. Lucky for him Pompey are not a big club in a big league any more and not of much interest to normal (i.e. not nutjob) people as you would have thought that the action of Najadi would have risked an occurrence of the Streisand Effect otherwise.
  24. Hartlepool currently winning leaving pompey 4 point adrift at the bottom as things stand.
  25. Agree but how certain are the FL that he is wrong is the question.
