Try the 10.3 version of Total Domination (the tactic mentioned earlier in this thread). Saints are unstoppable.

blimey! I've only just started with it, maybe 3 or 4 games into the season and Lambert hasn't scored yet, not even in a friendly! Barnard's not much better. I've set Lambert as Target Man and Barnard as Poacher or Forward Lying Attacker. I think the team need time to gel, so far we've only managed a couple of draws. I remember it took a while on 10.1.

Do we get a lot of coverage on this? I've thought about downloading it, but can't really be bothered if it's a couple of minutes of highlights - I watch those on Saints Player.

He's been on the bench for the past two games whilst your article says his contract was dissolved (canceled) in December.

I change the touchline instructions to: Retain Possession Pass to feet Stay on feet I also swap over the full backs to man marking and centre backs to zonal. Seems to work a little better for defeence. I also switch to Counter attack if protecting a lead.

For THE best tactics go to the official FM2010 forum, tactics section, and find the 'Total Dominance' thread. I've been using this tactic for two seasons with Saints - it's now May 2017 I'm 20 points clear at the top of the prem (crowned Champions but I'm after a target of 100 points), FA Cup final, League Cup winners, but knocked out of the Champions' League in the semis - I won it last season. It's a bit of a Keegan/Ardilles formation in that you'll concede a few but you'll score more. I have a centre back on 20 goals for the season, and my main striker has scored 36 in 33 games, my other forwards are on 20-30 odd goals each too. Check it out.

Thanks! Anyone else getting frustrated that a player who gives away a penalty, or makes a mistake, never gets over it for the rest of the game? So often I have defenders that concede penalties then have a player rating of 4.7 for the rest of the game leading to further mistakes. The only solution is to take that player off. Completely unrealistic I think. Is it a bug?

Can anyone help out here? It's the Jan transfer window, I've signed three players but I can't play any of them because they aren't registered. I can't see how I can register them so it looks like I'll have to wait until the end of Jan when, I hope, the registration option will appear. Frustrating!

ha, I just played Swansea in the League Cup 3rd Round beating them 5-3 on pens after a 2-2 draw, however the result was recorded as a 7-8 DEFEAT on pens! Gutted

after Markus selling Sneiderlin behind my back it now says on the board confidence screen that the board are disappointed at my decision to let him go!!!

January came (in S2), I was hoping for a few extra £ from Marcus and what does he do? Sells Sneiderlin to Dortmund for £4m and only gives me a fraction of it!

After promotion to the Champ I brought in Demarcus Beasley, Saha, Dorian Dorvite, and Amdy Faye all on frees. Saha has been rubbish but the others have been quite good. Currently 6th after 20 games, but not playing all that well and having trouble scoring goals, but scarping enough 1-0 wins to be at the right end of the table...lost to Pompey though. Like you received no/little transfer budget (£20k to be exact). I'm hoping for something come January.

Don't sell Saganowski, he's fantastic! He scored 35 in 43 appearances for me in the first season. Top scorer in the league and voted fans player of the year. In season 2 he's doing OK having scored 4 in 7. I'm surprised how good Saints are this time around, usually MLG is a little too honest about our players.

I'm using a combination of 433 and a really rigid defensive 442. Saganowski is the top scorer with 29 in 38 appearances! Followed by Lambert on 25 in 36. It's currently 2nd April and Saints are top of L1 on 78 points - scored 83 conceded 40. All going well. Only brought in Gradel, Leandro, Darren Ward, with Tyson and LuaLua on loan.

MLG where can I find out about an online purchase (download ala STEAM) for the Mac? I can't find anything on the fm2010 homepage but I noticed in an earlier post you mentioned something called eSellerate, although I can't see anything about game purchase on their homepage either.
