Whoever our center backs are they will have the most touches and highest pass completion percentage and everything they do will be in our own half. Not my problem though as I'll be cleaning the kitchen and if I finish that by 5:45pm I'll happily make a start on the bathroom. Saints = steaming pile

Thank you very much. Always nice to find some humour here.

Maybe Stoke will score us an O.G. I'm done with this and am going to watch a game that involves fantasy team interests. Shame on you Saints.
-
Are we currently the most boring team to watch for the neutral (and fan) in this league?
-
Brickhill sounds like a rough part of London.

I hope those going and the Palace fans give Hodgson the welcome he deserves on his triumphant return to English football after leading the national team to a 2-1 defeat against Iceland which wasn't even his most serious crime* *Wilshere not only being named in the squad but actually getting on the pitch against Iceland

Forget it people. We are going down and this game will be one that clouds the sky above even the most optimistic Saints fans. My advice (feel free to offer yours to me) 1: Get money on Saints to be relegated before this game currently around 25/1 2: Don't waste anymore time watching this mess. During those 6 hours I could have read The Great Gatsby and still had time left for Brave New World or watched the entire first season of Rick and Morty and had time to listen to every Beatles album released after 1965. 3: Take up another sport. Archery is fantastic or the american football season has just started. Anyway 1-0 Palace (Benteke 68') Doesn't matter who starts.

Shake it Les, shake it! In and out, turn around. Get your whole self in! You're doing the Okey Dokey.
-
Being a sad Doctor Who fan I can tell you the BBC wiped a lot of video up until the mid 70s. The stuff that exists in black and white was usually returned from overseas sales from countries that didn't yet have colour and we're lucky to have that still exist.
-
We do not. We have the same starting 11 as finished last season so woefully. With the possible addition of a CB and DM who have never played in the U.K. and are very much an unknown quantity. Putting a lot of pressure on Lemina and Hoedt.
-
Won some money on that. Cheers Saints! Hope these young players come good in the next 10 games. We're scrapping to stay up this year.

I'd buy him a pint if I ever met him.

Fantastic to see this sort post before our season has even begun. How many times last season did I read 'We look like the only team capable of scoring' minutes before conceding a goal.

I haven't watched a boxing match for nearly 20 years. I seem to recall the pundits at least understood their sport. But you could be right. I think I should be aiming my ire mainly at British sport coverage rather than specific sports.
-
I saw something online about how Michael Owen has just reviewed the 10 films he has watched in his life and I tried to think of another sport that would employ a man who is quite clearly an utter moron. I couldn't think of one.
-
It's such a contrast when you hear american football pundits. Maybe one day we'll have such erudite and coherent pundits.
-
1-1 and I'm putting my money where my mouth is.
-
Without further transfers in I'll be a bit worried, we've added no one to the first team that finished last season so dismally. And it finished really dismally, sorry to remind everyone. A lot hinges on keeping VVD as this allows the midfield a bit more freedom to venture forward. Yes, I know it'll be Boufal's and Hojbjerg and Redmond's second season and they should be better, I bloody hope so.
-
I wish they had all the multi angle cameras back then. Many of those goals, especially at the Dell, I've only seen from one viewpoint unless I was there which fortunately I was for a few. Would love to see behind the goal views, close ups but alas 'twas a different time.

Flanagan looks a beefy fella, not sure about his football but a big lad. -
Can't dislike the fella and 12 years after our relegation he's still doing a job in the top division. It still laugh at his answer to, I'm half-remembering it, 'If you weren't a footballer what would you be?' 'A 27 year old virgin'
