  1. They're just dishing out their secret santas.
  2. I will be captaining Kane in my fantasy team.
  3. That's naughty, not impressed
  4. You talking about your predictions of 17th over the seasons when we finished 8th, 7th and 6th?
  5. Last post so I'll just say Yoshi player of the season, one of the few that bloody cares out there. Just before their 2nd goal he was the only bloke t run the length of the pitch to chase down the counter and cleared an almost certain goal, which they still scored from the ensuing corner. Now he rises like a salmon at the far post to thump in a header only for snidey get Tadic to brush his foot on it and claim the goal. Viva Yoshida!
  6. Pellegrino had the same look Hodgson had against Iceland when he realised he'd just put Jack Wilshere on to rescue the game
  7. reckon a Van Dijk straight red would give him time off til after christmas and that January move.Mr Vardy you are a brave man if you get within 4 yrds of him, though the effort VVD is putting in I don't think he's been that close to a Leicester forward all evening
  8. Not blaming Hoedt for that. I want to know who was the central midfielder that passed it back. There were only 2 players between him and forster so he must have had 7 options between him and the Bournemouth goal. But he chose to play it backwards despite having no one on him and ample time to look down field. Absolute tosser whoever it was. No need to go backwards at all and we got punished for such negative play. Looked like it was either davis, ward prowse or romeu
  9. Not playing too badly, high tempo, high pressing this is the sort of shocking performance I can appreciate
  10. 40 seconds in Tadic rolling on floor clutching his thigh, god I love that fella.
  11. I'd love to see the Beeb, Radio and SKY have to report that Southampton haven't turned up literally rather than metaphorically.
  12. Take the fine the F.A will give us and just don't even bother turning up. If possible get a doctor's note and throw a sicky and start preparing for the Everton game.
  13. A keeper much maligned here. Unfairly I thought and I often said I fancied him to become a good keeper. But many said he didn't save shots, positioning was all wrong and he used the wrong hand to save with. Well he's got his chance against Palace today and I'll be watching keenly to see how he's progressed. Relevant given our current goalkeeping incumbent.
  14. I'd say our squad is weaker than the one Adkins had in his brief time as our manager in this division. We've sold the soul of our club (Fonte, Lambert, Schneiderlin, Lallana) thought we were being clever by replacing them but ended up with a team of players who view us as a stepping stone. I feel nothing for any of our current squad, only feel pity for Gabbiadini and actively dislike more of them than I did when we were struggling season on season back in the 90s. We're in trouble and really could go down, but if it meant building a team of players who felt something for their team mates or even the club I'd take it again.
  15. Just popped back to say Saints have scored 9 goals all season. Peter Crouch has scored 3 in 153 minutes of football this season.
  16. Seen enough, hope we win. Got more constructive things to do than watch that though.
  17. My highlight so far is when Targett had a throw in half way into the Brighton half and threw it back to the center back Stephens. It's that sort of match turning moment inspiration that'll see him promoted into the first team tout suite
  18. The point is that I don't believe those teams are worse than us. Of the teams listed as being worse than us we have only managed to beat 3 of them in 8 games, and all rather fortuitously. Even the draws against these teams apparently weaker than Saints didn't see us producing any stellar football. And you can throw in a loss against one of the teams.
  19. You really believe that? Palace got a 1-0 victory against a team that have since sacked their manager and replaced him with an experienced one (though complete tosser) Bournemouth Swansea drew at home to them 0-0 West Ham scraped a 3-2 home win with 2 pens West Brom wonder goal snatched the win 1-0 Stoke lost 2-1 away Huddersfield drew 0-0 away Brighton 1-1 away and only looked like one winner in the 2nd half and it wasn't us. Everton Leicester Newcastle drew 2-2 at home had to come back twice We will be in the bottom 5 come the end of January
  20. One touch football, anyone remember it? Brighton do, yet we need 3 touches and a look around before we make every pass. So dull to watch. And Brighton won't sneak it, that implies an element of luck will have been involved.
  21. "Do not run! The stadium is surrounded by police" Hilarious, I don't think it's surrounded by police on a bloody match day. I'm amazed they didn't take a ball with them and that no one took a dump in the center circle. Kids today bloody useless!
  22. saddened by Lovren's substitution it's been 30 minutes of comedy gold. Look forward to him claiming it was an injury that led to him being pulled after half an hour, despite him sitting on the bench and receiving no treatment at all.
  23. That result up at a depleted Stoke gets worse with every game they play since. 2-0 down at home to Bournemouth after 18 minutes
  24. yoshida to cedric to lemina to Van dijk to bertrand to romeu to bertrand to Yoshida to lemina to cedric to romeu 'kin awful all those one touch drills they do in the warm up are they completely pointless? 3 posts and out that more points than we'll get in the next 6 weeks
