  1. Can't see how Murray was a foul?!?

What about Aus supporter website of the year? Is it only for Australian clubs?
  3. I suspect there are more 'Soccer' fans in Oz, per capita than any other ex-colonial place. Obviously, Brisbane would be the preferred choice. I would deffo go to Melbourne or Sydney if Saints played there. In fact Liverpool rep team is coming to Bris and I don't give a hsit. Bring the Saints!
  4. One reason I am happier in Brisbane than in Manchester. We're lead to believe the Australian economy is in crisis and everything's going to s hit, but there are very few homeless people. I have been hassled a handful of times around Fortitude Valley station in the last 5 years. That's the equivalent of Camden or Brixton where you basically have to have your fkoff face on the minute you come out. No homeless hassle anywhere else in the city I've been, though I don't frequent the slightly rougher areas. Point is, even in outer suburbs of British cities, you get the hustle, so many people off on their arse or taking the mickey. Doesn't happen here.
  5. This is the third thread in the last six months about 'ladies' football. Dinosaurs and enlightened boarders keep repeating themselves. Think dinosaurs may have the repetition upper hand. Use the search tool and you will see all the same comments.
  6. Ill educated northern heathens has Southampton in the South West. Bournemouth, I could accept as being yokely wurzels, but Hampshire is the South, bang south, not South East Stockbroker and not straw sucking South Westerners. South. The. South.
  7. Lou Coxfarm - is this the most attention you've ever had? (from blokes. Who are nerds. And not pained artists?). Just post a picture of yourself and I am sure that the judgmental, and frequently sexually successful, so it seems, members will discount you as a 'six pinter' or whatever. I do wonder why these blokes who have successfully banged every chick from Torquay to Berwrick upon Tweed and continents beyond are so frothing at their glanses to suck up to you. It is because you purport to be female, and that is what they are missing in their lives. Same here of course!
  8. So cliched but true. Well, Dani, with your millions in the bank, high class wife and international goals - where did it all go wrong?
  9. Time for me to kill this one off. I watched all you boys peacocking around the girl, and she loved it. All the attention she got! Everyone showing off their knowledge and erufkndition. Referencing the matrix or whatever. She was kidding herself if all wasn't solely based on the fact that every single one of you wants to nob this seemingly available female. It's when Harrys met Sally all over and seems to have diverted attention from Tokyo's wonderful news about a half bred 40lb homo swine. I'll be the one angrily sketching in the corner.

    Soccer AM

I'm sire I've read that at least twice from you, it is getting out of date! Nevertheless, one for the bank.
  11. I agree with this. My son gets really annoyed when I keep crapping on about how teams have collapsed after ten games, failed at Christmas, slumped in the second half of the season etc. I suppose we must dare to dream! Thinking back to '83, I don't recall anything other than a small glow of pride about finishing second - Liverpool had won weeks before, as Chelsea/City will probably do. Europe, I think, was a little bonus, but the only things that really mattered were Div 1 (primarily not getting relegated) and the FA Cup. Anyway, unless the choices are winning the league or the FA Cup, I pick FA cup. Would have picked league cup as well...
  12. 1) KL - big love! 2) I think BBC reported that fan pressure meant Schneiderlin was kept. I would like to know the real circumstances. Could it be that the custodians of our anthem over in Louisiana used JuJu to influence Kat? 3) I believe Henry Beaufort kind of let Joan get executed by not really making an effort. He's entombed in Winchester cathedral, so a Saints fan. Having said that, I don't remember too many Saints fans from my time at the school to which he gave his name.
  13. Good work!
  14. Does that mean he's not going to be on Fifa games either. My son has no idea who he is, but intuitively knows that Townsend is a Twaat.
  15. Will Ronald please give Tadic a kick up the arse for set pieces, or else get someone else to take them? What about Vic? Davis and Tadic will be ignored in the box and can perhaps perform a double act, with one leaping on the shoulders of the other.
  16. FFS Pells!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Think underdog wins all round would be great for us! Just watching Shaw failing to deliver a cross again. Go Stoke!
  18. I'll be dischuffed if we don't get a draw at least. That is to disguise the fact I will act like a baby if we lose, which is possible, some crappy last minute winner from a free kick or something.
  19. I understand this to mean the ratings are good - is that your intention? Interested to know! Redslo should probably ask mods to merge with the other, similar thread.
  20. He speaks well and seems very conscious of negative vibes he's had. He name checks Mane often, presumably after seeing he got put in his right position. Elia also mentions being played out of position. Elia seems to say he likes to play on the wing - did I understand that right?
  21. I am a self confessed overseas armchair fan but have watched most games live in the middle of the night. I think Pelle's performance has dropped recently and I see a couple of reasons contributing to this, not necessarily his fault. 1) He is constantly penalised for 'backing in' when going for clearances from our defence. 2) He has often been penalised for high feet. This is 'Crouch syndrome'. The high feet thing has affected his confidence and touch, meaning he's over thinking his first touch. Crouch, when younger, was forever being penalised simply for being tall, and the same thing seems to be happening to Pelle. I don't see this happening to Crouch more recently, but perhaps he's not being used in this role so much, thankfully I don't have to watch Stoke games to find out. He now seems to anticipate being penalised for going for high balls and, justifiably, seems to go looking for the knock down more often - again a change in his natural game. I don't know what he can do to get round this - perhaps refs have to get used to him for a season? I'm annoyed he can't seem to catch a break. Anyway, thank god I have not heard any one say 'good feet for a big man' and I still think he's an excellent signing.
  22. He's about 5000 votes behind Darmian, so it's going to take a big effort, and possibly a great deal of cheating!
  23. Judging by DW post history, I think we know his heart in the right place and I think it would have been better to have put your last post before the first as the first one was quite inflammatory. I'd be curious to know whether DW reevaluates this and future charity rides now, or perhaps the one he is doing is more legit than the ones you're talking about buctootim. To be honest, I'd always assumed that these things meant the participant was out of pocket in some way, as it would seem wrong to ask people to donate and not pay out yourself. I've given quite often on Just Giving and assumed participants get a benefit from the feeling of doing good or the achievement or camaraderie. I suppose the argument could be that zero money would be raised if there wasn't a professional group organising it, so something is better than nothing. I'd be interested to know what you think about all this now, Dr Who!
  24. transitions? Or are they done badly?
  25. Think we can all be a bit laid back about this game and enjoy any good stuff we do, rather than have the crowd and team all tense.
