Just had a look on Statto.com to see who we lost against when we finished 2nd (83/4) : Villa, Luton, Norwich, Notts County, Leicester,Forest, Man Utd, Coventry. That's it. Think we got draws or wins against all of them in the reverse fixture, so if we had a win and 2 draws from that losing list, we'd have been champions. Bugger.

Agree entirely - they put two or three on Tadic and Pelle all the time. Expect more of the same in next few games. Davis will have to up his scoring/shooting and the rest of midfield need to up their games also. Victor won loads of balls. as did Schneiderlin, but think Morgan looked a bit off pace - needs a rest. Nevertheless, midfield negated most attempts. COYS

Just thinking, if this was Saints in the same position under Poch, I wouldn't have felt we had any counter attack under the battering. The current side, like WHam, and definitely like our side in the 80s, have the counter attack.
