Having watched the highlights I hope they appeal the red card. A bit reckless but should have been yellow I think. Clearly went for the ball and kept his leg close to the ground, just possibly catching the back of Jorginho’s foot. Much less contact than Walker on Armstrong and that wasn’t even given as a foul, by the same referee I think.

Reminds of the Burnley route 1 goal last season - Vydra? Opposing managers must know it’s a Saints weakness. Although it shouldn’t be at this level.

Not sure that McGoldrick was actually offside for the one Forster saved. I think Vestergaard was playing him on. Maybe VAR would have given the goal if it had gone in. Good save. Several good performances, adding up to a very good team performance, despite the Ings injury. Roll on City!
