    Che Adams

You mean they don't fanny around at the back constantly? πŸ˜„
  2. Even Branfoot had to accept he was harming the team by leaving out MLT. ABK won't add goals to the team (he can hardly make it worse as only defenders have scored in 90 minutes). When he played in the prem, he was easily good enough before the shoulder injury. Put it this way, if and when RM gets the bullet, I'm confident the new manager will start him
  3. He came on as a sub in flamengo's copa libertadores 1st leg, qrtr final loss to peΓ±arol this evening. A certain G. Ramirez also made a substitute appearance for the Uruguayans'.
  4. The Chilean coach or RM? πŸ™‚
  5. The new Chile coach is clearly not a fan; i can't imagine why when his sole contribution in 3 games is getting an opposing player sent off.
  6. Did you not see how many times he gave the ball away? One giving the 'oirish a golden opportunity! Today TAA was very poor
  7. Fair points, but many of the players under him are 'his' so why aren't they tactically astute in the prem? Some of them have international experience as well as a season in the championship 🀷 I wasn't at the two atmospheric games you refer to, but surely that is down to those who were able to go, not the manager... In comparison, RM will seem like the second coming to the little welshman, so i see your point, but he had a very low bar. As for 'does he deserve a chance'? Yes, he does. But how long should that be? It's not as if we didn't display implosion tendencies last season and i don't see us getting out of this with him. I'm more than happy to proven wrong, but it's unlikely (IMO)
  8. But it's not that unlikely an appointment in an interim capacity, rightly or wrongly. My question is are the owners looking to stay up or not? As stupid a question as that may sound, if SR view this as a free hit in the prem, and if we stay up then great, they'll stick with RM; if they have ambition then they'll have earmarked replacements already (who many of us may not have heard of), but there's a form of precedent here. When Adkins was sacked after doing better than RM, it was widely met with shock, but Poch...well i don't need to wax lyrical about him.... I hope we get rid and very soon, but if they have someone in mind who they think it's capable of keeping us up. A manager for the championship isn't necessarily as good for the prem (AA illustrates the point well). Rant over πŸ™‚
  9. So we can be grateful for something then
  10. Seemingly a divided set of opinions on RM, so who replaces him (realistically) if said trigger is pulled?
  11. Bullying him? What happened?
  12. It's fairly physical, so that's one aspect that's similar to the EPL, but the quality isn't great IMO. The lad from Corinthians, I'm told from those 'in the know' isn't much kop. (He'll bang in a hat-trick next game now I've said that)
  13. Jumpers for goalposts
  14. With the exception of Fernandes, our best player
  15. Try this, it's working for me: https://top.soccerstreams100.io/event/eng-league_cup/southampton-vs-cardiff-live-soccer-stats/718799
  16. One less goalscoring option, strewth....
  17. Doesn't seem to be any rumours of a genuine striker signing beyond the lad at Corinthians (who my football-fanatical Brazilian friends do not rate at all). So when we got relegated in part because we didn't replace a proven striker in Ings, did we think it a likely outcome that we'd avoid relegation by repeating the no-striker tactic? There aren't enough goals in the squad unfortunately.

  19. Interesting addition and the most useful he's been in a wall for a long time. Thoughts?
  20. You think? I think it's cringe the way they act like teenagers egging each other on with the pretty host πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  21. Micah richards is canned laughter with glasses - little more
  22. I'm living in Rio at the moment and it's being rumoured that flamengo are getting him for 25m€. The source of this was a screen on a metro. Don't shoot the messenger.
  23. To be an England fan is perennially pessimistic, but even my heart says we won't trouble the trophy engravers. Since the last euros, our defence is weaker and Southgate proves time and again that talent counts for nothing without tactical nous (which he sadly lacks and displayed again versus Iceland). If Kane gets injured then forget it....i hope to be very wrong come July!
  24. Amen to this. If he has views you don't subscribe to, then a simple acknowledgement is necessary, or don't pay it any further mind; he's a f*cking club god, show more respect!
  25. I wonder how many haddock he two-footed along the way πŸ™‚
