  1. Yep the same things and expect a different outcome
  2. Defo, that’s why I think he needs more support than say Walcott/Djenepo/Redmond in front of him. At least we know S Armstrong will work hard in and out of possession
  3. Wouldn’t mind seeing something like this in 4-2-3-1 personally, see if ward prowse could have more effect in a more forward role Forster KWP Bednarek Salisu Perraud Romeu Diallo Livramento Ward Prowse S Armstrong A Armstrong
  4. It’s usually the smaller fee players that have worked out the best for us in the past tbf Buy low and sell high is unfortunately how Saints survive. That’s the way it is
  5. Correct
  6. This - Lemina on his day was the best midfielder we had but unfortunately his day was few and far between Hoedt was highly rated and had just started getting in the Dutch squad. Again didn’t work out unfortunately Gunn was rated highly by those in the game and was signed for potential but didn’t work out. Some signings do not work out, that’s the same at every club
  7. Agree
  8. Yep and we know why, that was very much a panicked decision based on a manager under threat and the club or les Reed pretty much going on a desperate managers word. 90% of signings follow a much stricter period of review
  9. De Ridder was branded the messiah on here following posters watching you tube clips. I have never heard of the guy, but research better than you tube must have been done within the club.
  10. About 30 million too much so would snap their hand off
  11. This
  12. This
  13. Don’t get me wrong, when he played for us 2/3 years ago, whenever it was, I did think he was poor. Pre season though he has been as good if not better than the likes of Theo, Djenepo and Redmond. I know that’s not saying much but I don’t think he will be worse than those
  14. Warwick Davis would have been handy for his corners against Everton
  15. Sounds like what we need from a defender, captain qualities
  16. Agree on 1st 50/50 as one of them should have taken control of the situation, must have been no communication. 2nd we didn’t react to quick free kick and ward prowse was ball watching instead of tracking the run, when he did react it was too late. 3rd Awful frol Stephens, DCL was in his eye line but he jogged back and had absolutely no interest in getting to the cross first. Absolutely no desire or passion and tbh was the goal that pissed me off the most
  17. Yep, but Djenepo, Redmond or Walcott will be in front in managers eyes.
  18. One up at half time with Theo and Djenepo being shite. Winning or not l, the manager has to change it and bring off players who are not performing, it was appalling from the manager. Not pro active at all and you can’t be like that in Prem league awful
  19. Romeu quiet ??? Spent 3/4 of the game covering ward prowse treading water. Yes great block ward prowse but other than that the game passed him by and it was lucky we had Romeu.
  20. Useless cunt of a manager
  21. I’m sure he had such a forward plan considering all those injury problems
  22. Nonsense
  23. Exactly that and I’m not arguing, it’s just unbelievable
  24. Can’t believe people turning their noses up at Dier. A 27 year old with over 200 games for a top premier league side and 40 plus international caps. WTF
