whilst i think the fans that went for burnely were idiots the police didn't help, bring unmuzzled dogs out in front of the Northam incited a lot of people around me. Also don't forget the Burnley fans weren't exactly shy and retiring, one of them chucked a smoke bomb into the saints fans ffs.
What i don't understand is why the police didn't cordon the away fans off and have sensible stewarding of the home fans (who were always going on the pitch). Then clear the away end to the coaches, instead of baton charging what was mainly gobby kids on the pitch
