I can fairly confidently say i won't ever have contact with ghosts as they don't exist and a stern telling off.... i can just imagine you standing in the middle of your room chastising something that doesn't exist while your neighbours look on from outside thinking you're the local nutjob
-
I wouldn't worry too much, as someone intelligently pointed out here the reason why these things are shocking is because they don't happen often. Yes i'd say bits of Southampton are a lot rougher, but you're VERY unlikely to get into a row on a night out if you have any brains (not to say those that do don't btw). Most of these comments about how bad it's got are knee jerk reactions, mainly because people naturally talk about the bad, shocking, amazing in life. The reality is most nights will be fairly normal, almost dull for 99% of the population. To be honest if you ignore the press (of all hues) and just get on with life the world seems a lot less scary!

Everyone's allowed to and it's a bit confrontational and well (and i mean this in the best possible way) "internet argument stupid" to say otherwise! I'd just be very surprised if he did reach that level though since he just doesn't look as good at the same age, his vision is way off being the same, his touch is far away from being as good and his ability to place a ball on pretty much anything (goal, head of slightly disabled looking striker) isn't close. Still a class player mind and i really hope he stays the distance with us, but more Ken Monkou (in levels of talent) than Matt Le Tiss. Mind you i do tend to think there's a really insane habit on here for people to caught up in the "he's/we/they're the best ever/****" syndrome. Reality is we're most likely to see a lot of middle ground because of our standing in the football world (even if that is a little boring to accept)
-
Because he's not even close to being as good, Le Tiss was doing it from the age of 18 at a far higher standard and was arguably one of the best players in the world during his peak. My only guess would be that you're not old enough to have seen him play live, because if you had you'd realise the difference in standard between le tiss and not just our team, but most in the premiership now. The bloke was unbelievable [nod to the video] and is for me the best i think i'll probably ever be lucky enough to see in the red and white.

Just got back and thought we were very unlucky today, for those saying harding had a poor game i'm really surprised. Considering our whole defence was pulled over to cover richardson (who was very poor) i thought he did a good job, plus on top of that he scored, i don't really know what else you can ask of left back. Lallana was his usual class self too, as was cork and there was at least one tremendous tackle from Fonte. I seriously think we'll play worse than that this season and win so i'm not too disheartened, just a bit frustrated at the end of the game. Oh and for those that constantly bang on about the way we sing owts this made me smile from the leicester forum,

Funny i've always found it massively overpriced compared to the online dealers i use. To be honest i find that a real shame too since i'd always prefer to support a local record store/dealer but many haven't moved with the times and some still have the old arrogant attitude that makes them think they can prey on those with less knowledge.

I'm with this i tend to find the women in southampton either of a fairly poor standard or totally up themselves and pretentious. Also there's been a spate of tango'd women in hideous brightly coloured dresses in town recently too (& i'm not talking about the Oompa Lompa types either, these are otherwise alright). Personally i think this city struggles due to students and people that want to think they dress like londoners, but actually dress like provincial people trying to dress like londoners. Mind you it could be worse it could be pompey.....

Picked mine up today, anyone know what the away attendance is likely to be? Even without the second batch i assume it's around 1,500 (going by SMS). Which to me isn't that bad considering the time of the year and the amount of games recently.

Wow! Well if for one can't wait to to do EA sports marketing for them

Surely what you mean is we should word a hilarious song towards him based on a terrifying nursery rhyme, that'll see him right.
-
yup many times, you? Can't say i can ever remember being in a fenced in holding area, more 'Ampshire's finest keeping us in the ground then moving us down GA slowly surrounded by them. I really do think a "holding pen" for the coaches & away fans is a massive over reaction, pure knee jerkism at it's best
-
jesus man that's a little bit of a mentalist reaction to a little bit of handbags isn't it? ok the police got it wrong but fencing in all the away fans after the game by default is bit melodramatic and likely to incense people further. I think the simple answer is do what they do normally, and don't let everyone out at the same time with no police presence outside when it's clearly going to kick off.

What we need now is semi retarded geek to make a video of themselves singing it and put it on youtube and we'll scare the crap out of every other fan in the league. I mean just imagine how intimated Millwall will be when start singing about buses!! This forum really is the last cornerstone of terrace wit and culture isn't it? GO TSW!
-
Jesus what the hell is wrong with that guy!? At least our retards don't need to put themselves on youtube for every other club to laugh at. Mind you he does look and sound EXACTLY as i expect MLG to be
-
Just out of interest have the blue few paid us back the money they owe us for the last time we played them yet? If not i reckon we should only offer them back 4p in the pound on tickets for the december game (and pass that saving on to the fans)

That Giorgio Chiellini seems pretty handy, plus with the Italian connection we're bound to be able to sign him

Ipswich 2 - 5 Southampton - post match fapping session

So how long before we adapt the "we're coming for you song" to "we're to good for this league"? Just to wind up a few more away fans anyway -
Or just stop using IE for the love of the web and the need to advance technology. IE really is the worst browser out there (and it's users are even thicker than those that use other browser - http://www.surrealscoop.com/2011/08/internet-explorer-users-are-thick-in.html )
-
your best bet would be to use chrome instead, IE has more bugs than an empress road hooker

You could always try this handy new app you type in your postcode and it tells you where your nearest riot is http://www.jdsports.co.uk/store-finder

Le Tiss shouldn't pay for another thing in southampton for the rest of his life, the guy is a legend and deserves everything. I can't believe any saints fan would stoop to calling him a freeloader after what he did for us.

Camden is a complete tourist trap and has been for years, the music scene moved to Shoreditch/old street/hoxton probably about a decade ago and has now moved up towards Hackney more with the arty stuff being spread between hackney and camberwell. For good nights out Brixton is still quality and actually for something a bit more refined around Ladbrook Groove is pretty nice these days too.

you can always get a ticket in the home end, they never sell out so it should be easy

I was there the time a certain poster on here took a hip flask of absinthe to the game with him, that ended well....
