This is absolutely f*cking EVERYTHING. So if you didn't want to draw them, don't buy a ticket. If you think staying up is more important than winning this, don't buy a ticket. If you're not going to sing your f*cking heart out, don't buy a ticket. If you're going to take photos or videos, don't buy a ticket. If you're thinking about vlogging, don't buy a ticket. If you'd buy a Saints/Pompey half half scarf, don't buy a ticket. If you think people who don't wear replica shirts are "thugs", don't buy a ticket. This is the single best draw possible, absolutely buzzing for it.

Decent enough win in what should've been a routine game, thought we looked disjointed first half but improved hugely in the second. Shame about Redmond, didn't look good from where i was standing, especially as he pulled up with no one around him by the looks of things. I'm quick to have a go at our away support but last night i thought they were superb, not just the usual Oh When The Saints on repeat. Although jesus it was hot, i mean i know Fulham are a posh club but putting on a free sauna for the away fans was a bit much wasn't it?

If you're asking that then you probably won't like the answer. If only that was the problem, but no sadly not.

Having seen some of the pictures of the absolute states that got the Saints Travel buses to Brighton yesterday on social media i'm hoping the club beg them not to attend instead.

I think you missed the reference

I do a 140mile round trip for every home game and don't feel the need to eat at the ground or the burger vans outside, i just leave a bit earlier so i have time to grab food in the pub where it's better. Mind you i do the train not the road and the football is only really part of the day anyway.

Is the gasworks still down in Northam? Phew 'ow i remember those pongs...

So you don’t like the shirt but bought one anyway? I think I’ll save my £15 and spend it on something I want. Like a ticket to the Fulham game or beer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So let me get this straight, most people don't like the kit, think the sponsor looks poor and the kit is made badly, but the same people are p*ssed off it's late and buying Chinese knock off kits anyway. Why? I mean i'm not exactly the target market for kits but even if i was spending almost £70 on something i don't like is just baffling behaviour.

Our support is f*cking awful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Of course we f*cking should, in my lifetime we've played them 13 times, even if you go back to the 60's it only just makes it into the mid 20's. Any win against those c*nts should be celebrated for years, who gives a flying f*ck what division they're in. Did you celebrate any less when we beat them in 96, or in 84?
-
We have a very weird breed of new fans/premier league fans that want any excuse to bottle the walk down Goldsmith Avenue, that's fine by me though as the more of them that do the better our support will be.
-
There's literally only one game proper Saints fans should want, and that's the inbreeding fish f*cking Skate c*nts at Fratton. Preferably without any of that noncey bubble bus stuff too. A midweek cup at theirs is literally the best game in football.

You don't need permission here either, but if you don't have it and do it then you have to expect some abuse as not everyone wants their face plastered on social media. And before people say about there already being cameras in the ground, yes there are but the TV don't tend to broadcast just the crowd every week so the chances of you being on are relatively slim (unless you stand behind a goal).
-
The problem with Vlogs is you're filming other people's faces without their permission too, it's not really a surprise people don't like them. Maybe set up a separate area away from other fans for people that want to do it and then they'd get less grief.
-
Yes it does, that's why traditionally they've been kept to a minimum and normally on a single night of the week (weds in the top division, tues in the lower divisions), i honestly wonder sometimes if you even go to games, you're so unbelievably clueless about anything that impacts on normal fans.
-
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that a friday evening, after people have finished work, potentially with no trains home after, might be awful. Mind you if you realised football wasn't a computer game you'd understand it you oddball.
-
It's to protect the people who want a pint pre/post game from some of the more oddball members of our support who will no doubt congregate around the "Fan Zone" and sing at a man in a fancy dress dog costume. And for that reason alone i think it's a fantastic idea.

I thought Steve Bull had stopped going? I haven't seen him in years.

These threads generally highlight the woeful quality of songs that we have to put up with these days. They're either stolen from other clubs whilst we sing "we sing our song" without even the slightest hint of self awareness, have to mention the skates, or are utter embarrassments (baby shark). So it's nice to see one that's quality on here for a change, In amongst the god awful crap that we normally see -
I honestly can't remember anyone giving him stick? From memory most people really wanted him back and were hugely disappointed he kept getting injured. He's probably one of the most roundly loved players i can remember in my time supporting Saints.
-
And half the Milton came pouring back in! Only six goals in his entire career at Saints in over 100 games though means he definitely counts as "didn't score often"
-
Only really one answer to this. Step forward Barry Horne.

Timmy Flowers got a hell of a lot of abuse when he first started playing for us, then turned out to be great (although his debut was comically bad). Can remember a fair few getting on Claus' back at the start too (maybe deserved to be honest). Matt Oakley was underrated by huge amounts of our support for nearly all of his career, but when he went it was obvious what he added. Pelle got a fair bit of abuse when he first joined, though people softened to him. Tadic was completely misjudged by many, then became a world beater after he left. Mane was given dogs ear abuse on here by many people. Redmond got the same treatment as Mane. I'm sure there's more i've missed, but a hell of a lot of our support know very little about football.
