Sims, Jones and Reed are worth keeping the rest need to be let go in my opinion.
-
To be fair that info came from someone else who posts here so i'm just sharing it, one of my sources left the club recently.
-
From the video's it looked like a scrawny student type and not him. The lad you're thinking of was the one who did Be'er Sheeva away and is a top bloke.
-
I actually wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if Cedric stays this window and goes in the summer instead after the Nations Cup games, also i've heard he's not going to Everton as he's turned them down already (don't shoot the messenger if that turns out not to be right though).
-
Be very lucky to win this based on that team selection. Gutted as i was well up for an away trip to Stanley.
-
I've heard it's very likely.
-
Do you actually believe that? He burnt through contractors on various projects, bringing them in for designs and plans and then dropping them and not paying them, he (i suppose i should put allegedly because he's a litigious little *****) syphoned off money to spend on his own person projects, Staplewood is, and lets not pretend here, a very, very good facility, it was also one we couldn't afford at the time and was part of a long list of things that he was effectively gambling against the club. I have literally never understood where the idea comes from that he's some sort of great businessman, he spent millions of pounds of someone else's money, and when they dried up he then took out loans against the club. As Shance said if he'd carried on the way he was going the club would've been in severe financial problems, in fact we've all been told this, first hand, by the owners and board of the club. Kat effectively removed him from his position because he had too much power and was overspending. The board released a statement in the summer VVD didn't get his move saying that we could finally stop players leaving because we'd restored the club finances after the debt he'd left us in. People need to stop mistaking our rise with his ability, our rise was a lower league version of Man City, we bought our way up to the prem.

On behalf of lawyers, local builders, ex employees of the club and local journalists i shall have a drink tonight. If ever a man personified the values of the premier league and modern football it was the mad midget, his incredible ability to fund our rise to the top was nothing short of incredible, and his myth making around himself second only to the blue few down the road. A man of real talents, though sadly it seems only he knew what they were. He is, i'm sure, sorely missed by the fans who have forgiven him the selling of all our players and wish him well in his new role as CEO of AC Milan.

Except that's not what i'm saying, you're as weird as that oddball Whelk if you think that. My point is that surely most away fans want a day on the **** with their mates, not sitting on the bingo bus and turning round and going straight home again. Personally one of the appeals of Stanley (like a lot of northern grounds) is there'll be a ton of decent pubs and local ales to try out, plus you can have a blether with the locals too.

We have to go all out for this, staying up doesn't really matter compared to winning silverware, our trophy haul is embarrassing to be honest and i'd much rather go for a cup, that currently looks very open, than stay in the league. Also the flip side is that momentum is hugely important right now, we need a winning streak to build confidence.

nah balls to that, a day on the p*ss in lancashire and a good trip back down on the train in the evening is far better than a 6am start and barely being able to get to a pub before the game.
-
F*cking joke, 12:30 kick off on a day that there's train strikes that've been planned for months. F*ck BT sport and their complete lack of care for travelling fans.
-
As far as i understand of the Ings deal it's based on games he's available for, there's a criteria that says if he's available for a certain number of games (not sure how many) irregardless of if he's played then it converts to a purchase. Also heard the player himself wanted a get out clause in case we're relegated but i'm not sure about that one.
-
don't need to imagine it, i was in the Milton road just behind the goal when he did it
-
I'd be hugely surprised if this wasn't on TV, irregardless of who goes through, my money would be on the early kick off on the Sunday. The BBC love a cup upset story but both them and BT will hold the "big" spots for the bigger clubs. If, and lets be honest it's a very big if right now, we get through i can see this being a nightmare for travel, and probably a weekend away. As the trains don't seem to give you much room for a return and already pretty damn expensive.
-
Other than the Skates away (because as a Saints fan you're going to want that) it's the next best we could've hoped for. Mind you given it's such a great draw we'll definitely lose to Derby now.
-
Anfield, Goodison and Stamford Bridge should all be in the bottom half of the table, Molineux and Huddersfield are the only two i've been to in recent years that make any real noise, most (like St Mary's) are silent most of the time but can have their moments.

Where the f*ck did that come from? So because watching grown men make tits out themselves is something he (and a lot of us) find incredibly embarrassing he's suddenly racist? Those are some incredible leaps of imagination, to go from "cool kids getting vexed" to "they must be a bully" shows as much about your psyche and past as it does what's been written. I don't think anyone was slagging off old folk, in fact the people doing that were all in their 20s and should've known better. Most people i know were embarrassed by that attempt from those kids, and most of the same people aren't exactly young themselves.

Proper performance from the team this evening, JWP had a great game i thought, and the whole side did what ralph wanted of them. Must be honest i thought chelsea looked tired at times, not sue if that was our pressing or the winter schedule, but we seemed sharper to every ball. Have to say though our support embarrassed ourselves tonight. I've seen a lot at games but the baby shark song... Every single one of you that sung that needs to stop going to games, that's worse than the Hull "mauled by the tigers" thing
-
So you think Fonte is past it and say we don't need centre back's but still want him here? Well that makes a lot of sense
-
Out's (that i know of) Gabbi, Davis. In's Don't think we'll see much, probably a loan or two but depends on sales.
-
Remember i found a Tommers brown leather hold all in a charity shop about 10+ years ago. One of the "sports bags" for those that remember them, with Tommers in black print on the side. Always been gutted i never picked it up but i didn't have cash and figured i'd come back for it later, by which point it'd gone.

That's some fantastic "whataboutery", so you think because i don't like some freak filming his face all game (and by default filming others around him who might not want to be filmed) i wouldn't take a photo for an old dear at a game who wants one taking? Get off your morale high horse for a minute and realise that one doesn't equate the other. I have no issues whatsoever with that, hell i'd probably take the photo for her myself, i mean yeah i found the Santa hats cringeworthy and wouldn't wear one myself but it's not the same as literally filming other fans without their permission so you can indulge in narcissism and take a seat from someone who wouldn't do it. I mean this nipper is a full grown adult and filmed himself "crying" at the Cardiff game. A game not even half way through the f*cking season and he was fake crying for likes. As for the people saying it helps experience the atmosphere, i'd love to know how?
-
Yup was told about Gabbi at the game yesterday, by the sounds of things he's off in January, don't know who to though.

Lee Todd is the worst player that i've ever seen play for Saints, and i've seen a lot of sh*t players play for us.
