Thomas has picked up a knock.....

Something that always gets brought up by a couple of skates on another forum is: Who has the highest attendance? (They seem to forget that The Dell could only hold 30k and St Marys only holds 32k) Who has the highest overall attendance? (They seem to forget that Fratton Park was always bigger than The Dell)

What is our debt at the moment? Some skate on another forum seems to think we still have massive amounts of debt but I am sure that it was cleared once the takeover was complete?

Sam Sodje would be a quality signing in League One.

Rasiak wants to go, this is clear. In all the pre-seasons he has looked terrible! Especially in the Bournemouth pre-season. He was given the ball away everytime and had one shot which was a pathetic attempt. For someone his height, you'd think he could win headers? But he can't. He always jumps too early and always has done.

I hope ML does spend a fair bit of money on transfers, but not the stupid fee's that are being paid for a single player (should we get back to the champ/prem). Should the owners of city get bored and sell the club on, they may find that hard as this could leave City in sh!t loads of debt.

We played good in the first half imo, Thomas was a beat in the defence and the Ajax strikeforce struggled to get past him. It didn't look like a penalty, but we are used to the cack referee's. Even in pre-season we have them! 2nd half was very poor, we struggled to get hold of the ball. Thomas had gone off and we struggled in the defence. We NEED to keep Thomas. Saga and Rasiak didn't look interested so they can f-off.

Alan Pardew is a fantastic appointment in League One IMO. As much as I love and wanted Gordon back, I wouldn't want him to have ruined his status and make loads of fans think differently of him. He has done ALL he could do at Southampton. Anyone moaning about Pardew seriously need to think about it, the man has a very good win % and did wonders at Reading and West Ham. It didn't work out for him at Charlton but I cannot think of a manager who has had several jobs in England and suceeded in all of them. Last season it was some dutch clowns in The Championship, now it is a manager who I wouldn't swap for anyone else in League One. He is much better than the names that were being branded out like Adams, Shearer etc. Looking forward to a couple of new signings and a new league with a new era! COYR!

I wouldn't take much notice to that forum. One post said in their administration rumours something about us being in more debt then them and not paying our players for 3 months. There were also some saying they are a much bigger club then Southampton. My West Ham mate said this would be a great management appointment for us, considering we are in League One.

I would be happy with Pardew. And agree with what Dicko said.
