Meh. It's clearly intended to provoke a reaction, so it just went over my head. Must try harder next time, maybe a subtle approach.

Oops, you're right, I have three center-back in there lol. I must have slipped him in by accident.

You also said that Celtic got the better side of the deals on all 3 occasions. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Fox sign from Burnley. Anyway, Jos and Fox helped earn us promotion for the cost of a couple of million. We got a great deal.

Where do we strengthen to take us to the 'next level'?

What about Ogbonna? He doesn't appear to fit into Conte's plans at Juventus. Part of an Osvaldo deal maybe? -
Once dubbed the next "Pele", turned out to be the next Rohan Ricketts.

Some of the players below are very unlikely to be targets, I'm just throwing names out there. Bony - Swansea Adrian Ramos - Hertha Berlin Remy - Newcastle(QPR) Giuseppe Rossi - Fiorentina Mitroglou - Fulham (If he proves himself useful and Fulham go down he could be worth a shout.) Hernandez - Man United Ings - Burnley Lukaku - Chelsea Benteke - Villa Carlos Vela - Real Sociedad Rémy Cabella - Montpellier

Why not just build/buy a solid PC instead?

All of a sudden Adebayor is world class! He's back to his best they're saying. Spurs appear to have turned their poor goalscoring record on its head. On the contrary, our formidable defensive record looks as if it never existed. You would think this was an alternate reality until you realise Jos is still ****, Fox is still ****, and Gazza is still ****!

Gaston Ramirez to save the day...

There's a mistake in Hooiveld every game we play. I love the man, but he's a liability at this level.

Was that Cortese in front of Woy?

Can't really say I thought they looked that up for it. They certainly had more fight than us, but that doesn't say a lot for them.
-
In all fairness, you won't find many EPL clubs that would have been going gung-ho for a win tonight.

I'm not necessarily disappointed about being knocked out. I’m disappointed in the team's performance and lack of desire to win the game. They really didn't look like they cared, nor did Pochettino's selection suggest he cared either. Silver lining - December is easily our toughest and most congested month of the season. It would have been nice trying to have a good go at the League cup, but it would have also been a big ask to beat Chelsea and maintain momentum in the league. This year we can really consolidate ourselves as a Premier League club; establish ourselves as a top ten club. Next year we can push on from there and make a good attempt at winning some silverware. Baby steps! Roll on Hull, we will smash them and the bed wetters will be silent once again. COYR!

We'll win this.

Post Match Reaction: Manchester United 1-1 SAINTS
Super_Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I don't usually complain about highlights, but what was that about? Highlights made us look horrific. At least Shearer commented on a deserved point. -
Are the player ratings on futhead/UT much different to the ratings in seasons?
