  1. I'll actually agree with you on that one.
  2. But now we're top of the league surely we would have to be an attractive move. At 1.85m, we would have to be mental not to have a bid. Juckiewics(sp?) would be an underwhelming signing if I'm honest. Then again I said the same thing about Jos.
  3. 6 goals in 50 appearances, no thanks. If we're going to Loan a striker I would look into getting Romelu Lukaku. However, thats probably unlikely to happen.
  4. Irish guy with hangover shocker!
  5. Pompey Losing, Leeds losing, Cardiff dropped points and Saints winning. Good day so far! Tough games later for West Ham and Boro too. COYR!
  6. DIY, don't waste the dollar. Number 2/3 straight through, job done.
  7. For all that don't use twitter, he just posted this seconds ago. jasonpunch Jason Puncheon As I said when I signed saints will be in the prem within the 3/half yrs of my contract which looks more than likely it's gona be ahead....Of schedule....naturally people gona look an say he only wants to come bk cos where top an some want him bk cos there's a shortage....On the right hand side...when all goes wrong who gets the flak then...just like there trying to get on gulys back an were top of the league
  8. Well I've just finished reading the Iceman. So if there is any relation to the readers and the serial killers, stay well clear of me.
  9. Huddersfield fans seem to reckon Rhodes will cost £8m+
  10. Am I missing something here with J Rod? He hasn't exactly got a good scoring record. The four goals in one game came against Burton Albion, two of which were penalties. To be honest that was the first time I heard of him, and I haven't heard anything of him since. I'm sure Rhodes would cost relatively the same if not less being in the division below. He has been scoring goals for fun in the last few seasons and is the same age as J Rod. ...Then again I'm only go by whats on paper. I could be way off judging his ability.
  11. Top of the league and didn't lose if its any consolation. Win Palace, then get in a couple of players to strengthen the squad in January. We will smash them at ours!
  12. Jordan Rhodes, just scored 4 goals against 2nd place Sheffield Wed in league 1. Don't know a whole lot about him, apart from he scores a lot of goals and has been for the last 3 seasons. Only 21 too! I wonder how much it would take for Clark to let him go.
  13. Never really got into MMO's, tried Guild Wars but it didn't appeal to me. Considering giving this a go. I'll wait for the reviews to come in first though.
  14. Good read, I can relate to it as I'm 22. I didn't really take much notice until they got promoted. My father would speak of them, although I didn't really get it. But who could blame me - I was young and enjoying watching top flight football, they were just an insignificant club below us. My first encounter with the place was when I was 9 or 10. We happened to be driving through Portsmouth, then all of a sudden we pulled into the car park of Fratton park. I thought to myself "what are we doing here, there's nobody here". My father just looked at me and said remember this place, and called them the "enemy" and "skates". Then we drove off home. Although he wouldn't tell me what skates meant, when I'm older he would say. It was quite a surreal moment, but I got the message. The feeling has gradually built throughout the years. Starting with the minutes silence. Thats when it started to register with me. It sunk it even more when things went pear shaped. I suppose prior to that I just believed that natural order would be restored. They would eventually get relegated and we will continue to play top flight football. I couldn't have imagined the contrary. The humiliation of losing 4-1 at theirs and then relegation just made it all worse. Subsequently living in their shadows while they challenge for Europe and we fought relegation in the league below. I never really had the chance to enjoy being a league above. The majority of my memories of them are living in their shadows. Nervous about Sunday, but this is a great time to tear them a new one and show them who the No.1 team in Hampshire is!
  15. I know its hard to predict. But what players do you see pushing for the 1st team over the next couple of years MLG?
  16. A lot of negative predictions on here. I'm afraid I'm with you lot though. 2-1 Skates. Whats the general view on their forum, are they pessimistic/optimistic?
  17. Didn't Niemi and Killer listen to metal? Probably Claus too.
  18. Why is it always the same morons starting these threads.
  19. Does anyone know if Kelvin is back next week? I pray to god we don't have to play Bart! If his nerves are feeling it now, god knows what he will be like next week!
  20. Its one of those days. Can't see us getting anything from this.
  21. Struggled for games, but didn't struggle for the likes of Charlton, Fulham ect. I could see us averaging around 35k to be honest. Assuming we expand by 10k, thats would leave us with the same as Villa and they average about 35k a season. Respectable.
  22. There has been some talk about his future on his twitter. His loan ends in 1 month, he hasn't exactly set the PL alight. I think he has only played two times this season. Would you welcome him back or should try to cash in on him/loan? I'm in two minds really, He would add more depth and options to the squad no doubt. I never really questioned his ability, just his attitude. I think todays result has me in a gloomy mood to be considering having him back.
