Local company, shown impressive growth in the last few years and quite frankly as long as they are prepared to put money into our club then whats the problem ? I'd rather have a local company than some non descript bland national company with no links or responsibility to the community or the local area.

Guly was bad in front of goal today, otherwise his all round link up play and effort was good and he created two goals, he isn't a golscoring forward like Lambert or Barnard, he is an attacking midfielder.I agree that Barney would have had 2 or 3 today if he had started. I thought both defences looked dodgy for the first 20 mins today, difference was that ours sorted themselves out although their keeper should have stopped Lambos goal, we made a half decent side look ordinary in the end but we were certainly rusty initially. Regarding the corporates choosing MotM - I was in corporate today and we don't have a vote on it, most people in our box couldn't believe he won it (although he did have a good game), really should have been Lallana or Jaidi.

We played with a real intensity tonight and battered them first half, to their credit they defended well and throw bodies in front of everything but we should have been in front at half time. No surprise that we tailed off a bit in the second half but were still dominant. We just lacked a little bit of creativity at times, thought lambo looked to be getting sharper bur he would have burried two of tonights chances last season. Nothing to worry about, if we play like that every week and take one of our chances we nailed on for a top two finish.

I heard about this plan before Christmas and with the development plans the Rose Bowl has currently got which would include a new road and rail infrastructure to support this it makes sense to have it built in that area. The current St Marys site could be sold for residential land and would command a huge sum which would then make a new out of town ground with a bigger capacity financially viable and for a reasonable outlay (especially as the travel infrastructure is being addressed by others), it would be comparable in cost with increasing the current St Marys capacity. Not saying I want an out of town stadium as I love St Marys where it is but financially it may make sense.

I got £20 at 9/2 on Pompey being bottom at Christmas, lets hope they get no more than a draw against Liverpool tomorrow !

This proposed takeover is a bit like watching the five minute freeview on the fantasy channel, you know you really shouldn't look at this website because there isn't anything to get excited about very often, but you can't resist a peek anyway cos there is always that little glimmer of hope that you might see something that makes you happy.
