The pitch is being dug up on Tuesday 21 may so isn't available for use. That's why Southampton and Hants senior cup games are being held elsewhere (Bournemouth I think).

A mate of mine saw him at Compton yesterday, Nigel said he had no idea the sacking was going to happen and began to well up when talking about it. My mate thanked him for everything, told him the saints fans would always love him and wished him all the best as he didn't want to see a grown man cry !

Give him the season, he and the team will come back stronger for it.

The issue with Matt and Cortese has nothing to do with being part of the Pinnacle bid, it's about Matt sticking up for his best mate Benali and his battle with Cortese about the mess Nicola made when renting his house.

He is our talisman, he is still the player the other teams fear most and this alone creates space for other players. We would not be the same side without him. Even a half fit Rickie Lambert is a threat.
