If he turns out like Walcott I'd be more than happy. Lee Holmes might be a better comparision, set for huge things as a 15/16 yr old and never really forfilled it. Although if he's been playing for Benfica, Monaco and Aris then he should be quality at this level. 5 goals in 19 games at Benfica, probably most of his appearances were as a sub as well, so not too bad.

cheers, actually works as well

is there a streaming of it anywhere?

Odd how many times Poyet manages to say 'Southampton' in one statement, sounds quite bitter, and possibly an attempt to scupper the deal by making our transfer dealings public?

Great goal, a good assist for the first goal and won a penalty (good highlights also on bbc), his form hasn't been as good in the second half of the season, but although the spl isn't great motherwell are one of the best teams, and he's their top goal scorer, goal ratio at motherwell is 1 in 3, and he's scored a few in league 2 whilst still 17 when he was at swindon. youtube link should work for anyone outside the uk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0OKEsf9XNIA&feature=related

wow, what a finish, shame his penalty was saved, but he did do well to finish it, and set up the first goal. His form's not been as good in the second half of the season, but would be a great signing, heard he'd prefer to move south than join motherwell. Motherwell fans were walking out at 6-2 down!

Not having a pop at Illingsworth, but, to judge a book by its cover, I wouldn't be surprised if the content is badly laid out, since the cover looks like that.

Pardew on MOTD Palace v Weds at the moment, loved his comment on Palace, lost their manager, chairman, and best player - Jose Fonte.

liked bournemouth's chants on the football league show... que sera, sera whatever will be, will be we're going to st mary's show's how much it means to them, can't imagine we'd ever sing about having to go to fratton.

What have you got against this James? to start a hate thread, and then contribute a third of all your posts to it, seems odd, is there something your not telling us? As I said before James didn't have the best game tonight but neither did Wotton, Lallana, Puncheon, Semi... James has had played excellently in central midfield before, he does get stuck in, and generally his range of passing is very good. He always gives 110%. Its not like the rest of the team never concede posession, everyone was guilty of it today just as they are every other match. As a youngster who's come through our academy who's coming back from injury, cut him some slack, he was only taken off to accomodate another striker. Having defended James I have noticed that it tends to take him a while to get into games and his first few touches can be poor.

I thought James has done a decent job in CM before, he wasn't great tonight but no worse than wotton. Generally he has a much better delivery than anyone else in the team bar Lambert.
-
would probably have been better than Solent's coverage.

I thought he was utter terrible, not only did he never live up to his reputation but looked absolutly exhasted, even after 10 mins. Don't think he really had any strengths, James gets a lot of stick now for not having pace, but he looks faster than Rudi did.
-
If this is acurrate, then when does the ban start? as he is playing against rovers, are we fielding an inelegible player?
-
Seaborne seems to be getting a fair bit of stick, I thought he played well for about 80 mins and then started to feel the pressure towards the end, although to be honest I'm glad he's come in. As for the last few games Jaidi's played I thought he looked very suspect (fine at attacking aerial balls, but on numerous occasions seemed to be increadibly casual / almost ignore balls down the channel or on the ground). Semi I thought had a bad game, and I felt very nervous when their winger was attacking us as he stood off too much, would have felt more comfortable with James tbh.

Spurs were terrible, every time their Croatians or Russians got the ball they'd shoot and completley slice their 25 yrd shot. Crouch's goal should have stood but think it should have been a penalty. Bale was by far Spurs' best player! Thought we provided a sterner test than Spurs did. P*mpey are good on the counter attack, and just fortunate that Brum & Spurs were clueless at trying to break them down.

Wasn't too bad, he's played worse, did well to set up the goal and was playing out of position for parts. Nice that he gave his hirt away as well.

Spot on, there are risks involved with everything in life, if the recreational drugs industry was legalised and regulated everyone would be better off, extra tax for government, more jobs (that can be taxed), and the freedom of choice for people to want enjoy themselves whilst taking good quality and small amounts of drugs occasionally, with just the odd person becoming addicted just as they do with alcohol or cigarettes.
-
Like canabis etc which is illegal although its dangers are highly exagerated by (and is why half the government's drugs advisory board continues to resign). You'll do more harm to yourself and others drinking beer ffs. Anyway why are the police raiding his home unless he has enough to warrant intent to supply?
