Whilst i agree on some points, surely the fact that a child lives in such filth is reason enough to remove it, if a parent can't take responsibility for even the most basic hygiene then what chance is that child going to have? I may sound like a Nazi to some but removing the child from a situation like that when they are young enough to be fostered ad before they develop the habits of their parents.
-
The social workers are surely involved to protect the interests of the child, the filthy, disgusting and wounded state the child was found in on numerous occasions should surely have rung some alarm bells? Not removing the child from the situation makes them as responsible.

There are no excuses, if your not up to the job, especially in such an important position then carrying on in that position makes you as culpable.

As usual incorrect use of the word snob, it actually applies more to you from your posting. Snob has nothing to do with posh.

Don't see anyone better to replace him with, unless sheik whatshisname secides to adopt a lower league team with fans who have ideas way above their station - So NO from me.

There are only so many billionaires prepared to bankroll clubs these days, and we are way down the list of attractive propositions. I think that a mixture of young blood and 3 or 4 experienced pros is the only way to go for clubs of our size and stature. And all the dreamers out there better start waking up to the fact that we've ALWAYS been a selling club and that won't change for the foreseable future, be realistic, if we have to sell a couple of kids a season to stay afloat then we'll have to learn to accept the fact, if not like it. I don't remember the same fuss when the Wallace brothers, Shearer etc. left.

Anyone know of a decent, cheap and reliable company that provides a service for transferring 35mm and APS film onto disc? Local south hampshire preferred or postal if miles cheaper, ta.

The best thing i've bought in the last couple of years is my 16Gb Apple iPhone, it means i have my phone and an MP3 player on me at all times and whilst it is larger than most mobiles height and width wise it's actually thinner than most regular mobiles. It's made life easier for me by syncing it with my MacBook and sharing my contacts list and calender, i can't imagine going back to a Nokia now. The oddest thing is my friends who even if they slagged it off can't stop playing with it!
-
I think i used my video function 2-3 times when i had a Nokia, i hav'nt missed it:p

How is the iphone an obscene amount of cash when it costs £160 and £30 a month (which most people would spend on a phone contract anyway) And the ipod costs £200?

Do yourself a favour and find a fishing shop, they'll set up the rod for you, let you know what gear you'll need without ripping you off, advise you about where and when to fish and if you're honest and say you're on a budget they'll work with you to get the most out of fishing.

Rumour has it amongst the journos that Pimpey may beat us to administration

I thought it was amusing, the BBC should employ more people like them, they can pay for it by dropping Top Gear and Strictly Come Dancing this would also leave some pennies to bomb the the shooting of Popstars, Stars in their eyes or whatever godawful reality ******** is on this particular week.

Hats off to Hull.. Keep it up, you are an inspiration
swannymere replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Saints
**** me, who's been handing out the uppers? It's ****ing great that a little team like Hull can have their moment in the spotlight but comments like 'They're an inspiration to us all' show what a ****ing dreamland some of you cuunts live in. It won't last, they'll be bottom half come the FA Cup final but they will have done themselves, the city and the fans proud. When they have a tough time in the second season do you think their fans will be fickle like us? and demand the sacking of the manager, board or a particular they blame everything on? You're a bunch of ferkin mentalists -
If you don't get it? That's the cop-out phrase used by media types and kids when they have no ****ing clue

It's a third rate copy of Top Gear, Top Gear was at it's peak 5 or 6 years ago before it started targeting readers of Nuts and Zoo and becoming obsessed with celebrity. I would like to see the tv equivalent of EVO magazine, something that maybe isn't the 'coolest' or has 'mass-appeal' but an adult style of programme with big-words and boring engineering information, Where are the vehicle based programmes for those of us who like to fiddle with engines in our sheds?
