I'd give £40M to Rupert. I quite like that alot of muppets use him as an excuse to stay away, easier parking, quicker refills from the bar are just a couple of reasons why!

The current board have stepped down and Crouch has returned with Rio Ferdinand, Frank Lampard, Kaka and Ronaldo. Some fans are still unhappy as they don't think he's showing enough ambition and the beer is flat. Hey-ho.

So we appoint a manager like Billy Davies, we MIGHT then get promoted (god help the poor soul if they don't do it in their first season), then what? We all know that if you don't play passing football you're almost certain to be relegated, so what have you actually achieved long term? Nothing, we'll just stay in the continual cycle of hoof manager for 2 seasons, sacking of said manager if we don't get promoted. Or..... We can choose to break the cycle and put in place a new system, it'll take a while to stick but making the assumption that once your outside the premiership it does'nt really matter which division you're in!! I'll be the first to admit that it's not exactly going to plan ATM but their have been signs of a gradual improvement with a lack of cutting edge finishing being the main problem. Personally i'd take the relegation in the short term if it means stability for the club over the next 10 years.

I see most of the ArseHats on here are sticking with tradition and writing off a player after less than a handful of outings. Hmm John, Crouch, Fuller and a few other names spring to mind immediately FFS give the lad a chance.

I'm neither for or against the man, but i don't see the point in making every problem his fault. Unlike the sheep who claim they won't go to home games whilst he's in charge, just a badge of convenience in my opinion.
