swannymere replied to doublesaint's topic in General Sports
Actually, only partly correct. So no actual argument just insults? Who's really the uneducated moron? Don't bother responding save your energy for the range;) -

Yep, Lance Armstrong isn't a winner and isn't driven at all Golf is nothing more than a pastime, get over yourself. -

Is there a BT Openzone WiFi signal at St Mary's?
swannymere replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
I used to pick up a Wi-Fi signal in the Northam but it was never consistent, there is one at Shamrock Quay, not that that's much use during a match but good pre-match drinkies! -

I would suggest that being popular doesn't make you a sport, the fact that their are more pro-golfers, just means it's easier surely? -

Isn't Golf more of a hobby than a sport? I would nominate Lance Armstrong's 7 wins in the Tour de France. -
The blue is more dark navy blue than pimpey blue in the flesh, looked bloody smart today i thought!

Any boy racers out there got any window tinting film about 2"x8" they want to donate to a worthy cause? My new Sony iPhone radio/alarm clocks display is so bright it lights up the whole room keeping me awake. I can pay for postage via Paypal if required, many thanks Swanny the Insomniac

Oh the irony!

Bates is scum, i'll happily post my copy of Broken Dreams to anybody who wants it FOC (provided i can find it!) it included 2 chapters on Bates and the time he had to be rescued by our armed forces in the Caribbean due to his dodgy dealing upsetting the locals. If Leeds ever manage to get back to the Premiership he would fail the 'fit and proper' tests in an instant.

I like it, bit different but much the better for it

Oooooh, that sounds expensive.

Could be a turbo hose has split, that would account for the hissing, but not the rattle?

Anyone know off or have access to cheap car hire in Sydney? I'm looking to hire between Dec 24th. 21:00hrs and Jan 7th. 15:00 from Sydney International (Kingsford-Smith) i'm looking for something interesting, best thing so far is a Fiat 500 for £325 but i'm 6ft 2"! Willing to pay upto £5-600 for the right car. Also if i've found a VW Golf from a rental place, does anyone know how to ensure that it is a Golf and not one of the 'options' which could be anything from a Kia to a Hyundai?

Just to make sure all bases are covered, the third no Adams thread
swannymere replied to Smirking_Saint's topic in The Saints
I was considering renewing my ST but if Adams is appointed i'll spend my money elsewhere, this will kill all the goodwill in one swoop IMHO. -
They actually used to put petrol into diesel during the winter months to stop it freezing, personally i would have carries on as normal and just remember to put derv in next time.

Thanks for the loyalty Kelvin, becoming rarer and rarer these days, Cheers.

Hate to put a fly in the ointment, but he's seriously deluded if he expects patience from the vocal minority. Good luck to the bloke seems to have his head screwed on right from what he has said so far.

According to somebody ITK about 80% of punters came on wednesday compared to 40-60% in previous years.

I saw about 5 people wearing Saints shirts whilst working including a little lad of about 6 or 7 who i swear i saw last year! Also saw a couple by the Orange tent and a woman with a Saints carrier bag walking the drag from the main meeting point to the Pyramid via the cider bus (miserable cuunt, unlike his staff!). On the working front be aware that if you want paying and entry you'll be working so hard that you'll probably be too knackered to want to go out and about. Once again the punters ruined the festival by turning up, but it was great when they all fooked off on Monday;)
