  1. That article suggests he can play in both defence and in midfield on the left. May suit a flying WB position? Can't find stats for assists and stuff? Also describes the 27 year old as a starlet? Hmm. Yea, not over enthused, but hey, an Argentine Danny Fox might be exactly what RK wants with our young options on the left.
  2. Lovely. I was 'awake' myself as the sun came up today and had this playing (well, I playlisted all their YouTubes incl full album). Perfect. Thanks. Aha. still sent from my effing nexus 4, but I have found the setting now dammit.
  3. Ings is pretty much rated by everyone around the England setup has having a very bright future. The comparison to Sharp is not a bad one to be fair; although Danny is at the start of his career of course and can play across the front line more creatively than Sharp ever did! But they are from the same cloth. Namely they are 'strikers': get a goal from anywhere type players. If he did come to Saints, I would say (aside from Pelle, who I've not seen play) Ings would be the most talented striker at the club. Would be very popular on here as he works his socks off and is English! Aha. still sent from my effing nexus 4, but I have found the setting now dammit.
  4. If you work hard enough, stick at it, are quite clever, use your luck wisely and actually try to do it; a simple and simplified life can be achieved. ... This has been a motivational message brought to you by Polaroid Saint in conjunction with several pints of Old Speckled Hen. ...
  5. A mass debate with Alpine, online, which leaves everyone feeling slightly abused, used and confused? Yep, that's exactly what we want! We need more of Alpine before the Jizz Cocks get out of hand. Or something.
  6. It's not just Saints fans who think our future looks bright either. Every footy fan (who is not a Saint) I spoke to a couple of weeks ago couldn't help but talk about Liverpool and 'losing all our players'. Now, weirdly (and I have no idea where they are getting their info from - they ain't on here!) EVERYONE I know who is into footy is saying 'Saints looking good' 'Bet your happy, eh!?' 'Getting Koeman's a bit of coup' and 'reckon Saints will be there or there abouts'. Also much less enthused about Liverpool's chances and ALL (including the spuds) give MoPo until Christmas at best and then start talking about ABV. Strange, we had that buzz all last season (non saints liking saints) and it looks like it might continue. I don't read the papers during the week, unless linked on here or social media/Google alerts; so it's pleasing to know the message is getting out somehow! Up The Jizz Cocking Saints I Tell Ye! Aha. still sent from my effing nexus 4, but I have found the setting now dammit.
  7. Brilliant: if you start a sentence inside parenthesis with the word 'until', the forum swear filter thinks you are trying to write c unt. Aha. still sent from my effing nexus 4, but I have found the setting now dammit.
  8. She is rather fab. And I did exactly that *****il my friend told me to 'play it cool Trig'). She was a bit quiet; but then both times she was about to go on stage and probably didn't need some odd looking middle aged Englishman jabbering platitudes at her.
  9. Said this before (and only half in jest!): Danny needs to invoke the unwritten 'boyhood club' law and force a move to Saints. Burnley can then spend a couple of years getting Luke up-to-scratch before he then also cites the 'boyhood club' thing and comes to Saints!
  10. So you think a two second spat with a defender is a bigger contribution than an assist for a winning goal? I think, when it comes to illiteracy, you need to look up the difference, meanings and correct usage of superlative adjectives. But again, bless you for trying! I just hoped that you would and it is rather amusing.
  11. Still on this thread then Alps? Would you care to retract, at the very least, the comment about Gaston's only contribution at the WC? Or are we ignoring the assist for the winning goal?
  12. This is why people love you Alpine! "(Gaston's) biggest contribution was trying to get Chiellini to cover his shoulder up." I must therefore assume you turned off in disgust after that and missed Gaston take the corner and gain an assist for the winning goal? And you have a go at other people cherry picking to suit their arguments!? Keep up the good work sir. Truly staggering.
  13. I saw Alpine had posted to the Gaston thread so I whizzed over to see what it was. Pleased I did; 'wastrel' is such an underused put-down, nice one Alps! Aha. still sent from my effing nexus 4, but I have found the setting now dammit.
  14. Like this one Tadic is wearing;
  15. Absolutely! I did hear players had been issued with new training gherkins. All the rage these days, like sports bras for men, players couldn't wait to pop 'em on at the WC and Tadic clearly loves his. Hang on...
  16. She IS a model. Not saying it is right to perv, but we should be proud of having a good looking side with good looking partners. I think it should be an important part of transfer policy, after all, we have all those years of Le Tiss and Dowie to make up for! As you say, you can appreciate that Pelle is a good looking lad and you are not 'even gay'... ...Although that suggests you might be 'odd gay'? ! ;-)
  17. Check out the videos from last years Spanish encampment. (Which was a major team building success). Same thing... ...some chat, some banter during mini games and dills, but overall appears weirdly flat. This is mainly because it is a video of people training, not a Hollywood blockbuster trailer or celebrity based reality knock out show. There is no sound editing, no editing really, no director, no actors and no one applying makeup or special effects. My favourites are the off the pitch videos, which seem to be endless pans and steadycams of players walking through carparks, opening doors for each other, ambling down corridors and eating breakfast. All very eerie and Derek Jarman-esque. (Seriously, I quite enjoy them).
  18. There is no obligation under UK law to print the truth. None at all. Providing what you write doesn't defame or incite hatred or criminal behaviour, then you are free to express whatever you like, however you like.
  19. Love that last phrase and I shall nick it! Well said.
  20. Finally found somewhere sort of safe to watch this. Its quite good innit? Not amazingly ground breaking or anything but a decent sound and yeah, in yer face. But I prefer Peaches for pure sexual aggression! Didn't realise she is the girl from the Grimes 'genesis' video! I bloody love Grimes, and have had the pleasure of meeting her a couple of times (she is a friend of a friend). A bit classier than this (brooke candy) to be fair, Grimes plays about with beat and melody like a slightly more 'Street' Bjork ! Here is that video for Genesis, so you can 'enjoy' Candy Brook without all the lesbian hip hop stuff.
  21. If we must name anything in 'tribute' to 'Mr Lowe' what about those blokes that wear the day-glo bibs and try to ruin everyone's fun (by telling 'em sit down and stuff)? Match Day Ruperts makes as much sense as Match Day Stewarts, after all. Aha. still sent from my effing nexus 4, but I have found the setting now dammit.
  22. Perfect for Saints though? Danny can make his 'dream move' to the 'team he supported as a boy' (Saints). Meanwhile Luke can benefit from the Burnley production line and dramatically improve over a couple of seasons (say, becoming top scorer in the championship in the 2015/16 season... ...before making his 'dream move' to the 'team he supported as a boy' (Saints). Burnley really are gonna love us. Although I heard the deal was off? :-( (Come on Burnley, pull your finger out; we can't be expected to develop all of our players ourselves, ffs!)
  23. We should get him in for the Watch contract, save a few grand on players signing. Mind you, if I could justify the price tag to Mrs. Polaroid, I would get one of those dragonfly print shirts. Lovely.
  24. This, is true... ...in most cases. It's like e.e. cummings has joined the Echo.
  25. Agree to a certain extent. I do get frustrated when people moan about 'one line' paragraphs - as if it is something new and not how ALL journalists and PR reps have been taught to write for the last forty years. Short 'pars', as I have explained before on TSW, are designed to get a message or point across succinctly. I am sure I am not the only NCTJ accredited member on this forum?!? That aside, THIS is not a good example of clear journalism. For example: " Both chairman Ralph Krueger and director*Les Reed have made statements that were quickly used to beat them with when their words were exposed as hollow ones.' This is garbled and tautological, and typical of the entire piece.
