And where is this evidence that Crouch has bankrolled the club for the last few weeks? The sooner the club, if there is one left, is without all the old amigos (Crouch, Lowe, the lot) the better!
-
LMAO - our fans are so great they slag our players off wihout a moments thought. First of all Kenwyne Jones was s***e....not doing too bad is he? Then the rubbish about Walcott bening overhyped McGoldrick (our top scorer) being slated And now, a local lad who loves Saints being slagged off...... A question for some of you....how well have the experienced players done for us: Euell: could not hit a barn door Saganowski: hideously overrated and hideously overpaid Wotton: headless chicken and hoofer extraordinaire Skacel: absolute tosh One person on here who really seems to hit the nail on the head is Chez.
-
Big difference Daren......if Lowe coming back was the ONLY chance of stopping our club folding are you really saying you would rather he did not come back and the club folded? I don't think for 1 minute that Lowe will return but those that were excited about going into administration should be hanging their head in shame.
-
This is an old one...... group of wealthy Saints fans sounded out Shearer about becoming manager a few months ago and before administration. From what I understand, they ahd the monies to take over the club but it was all too difficult with all the different factions. Hopefully, they are still in the picture.

Bloody idiots!!!! Barclays are the reason we are in administration - they refused to continue with the overdraft. Or was that down to Lowe as well? A company does not go into administration out of spite..........Osman is either telling lies or extending the truth. A company cannot continue trading whilst insolvent (basically not enough money to pay bills, employees, etc): this is against the law and especially bad for a listed company. So that piece is absolute ******. Some of you need to grow up, stop seeing the boogey man and worry more about whether we have a club to support next season.

Like Leeds, Darlington, Leicester, Bournemouth, Rotheram. It worked a treat for all of them!
-
Re. attendances..................... Gates have gone up because: Prices were heavily reduced for Charlton game Kids for a quid for Palace game End of season relegation battle We're in administration (yeah great thing that is) How utteryl ridiculous to say gates have gone up (in the 2 games) beacuse Lowe has gone. So the large gates we had for Forest and Man U were because Lowe was here? And FF - how any reasonable Saints fan could ever wish for/accept administration just to get rid of one person is beyond belief.

Alpine - you must live one very sad existence. All you can ever do is snipe, moan, whinge and make sweeping assumptions about which you have not a clue. May I suggest you start enjoying life - it ain't a rehearsal and you only get one chance at it.
-
Is it still school holidays? Here's one for some of you dreamers......... WE ARE IN ADMINISTRATION AND THERE MAY NOT EVEN BE A CLUB IN 3-4 WEEKS TIME How do you propose getting Keegan in? Pay him in buttons?
-
lmao - what the f*** planet are you on Channons Sideburns? My god, Goebbels would have nothing on some of you lot.
-
We do appear to have a wide range of nut jobs supporting us if this forum is representative (thank god it is not!). Deluded, bitter, 'poor me, poor me', delusions of grandeur and plenty of spite. Why not actually get a life?
-
I cannot believe some of you on here. By all means give Lowe a hard time for mistakes he made BUT: VOKES SIGNED FOR WOLVES FOR £250k IN MAY 2008 This was before Lowe retook the reigns.....and that means Crouch, Pearson and co decided not to pursue Vokes. Still never let the truth get in the way of your witch hunts.

After today's display I would have thought that John Boy will have told ma and pa Walton not to bother. Still, at least there are 3 or 4 other billionaires in the mix - must have been enticed by the delights of Southampton and the fact we have the best fans in the world. If none of these come off it will all be Lowe's fault. After today I would have thought any buyer would be running a mile.

More complete and utter ****e from a PLAYING legend. I remember when Dave Merrington wa sin charge and I think that was just about the worst Saints side I have ever seen (excluding this shower of ****e). Who can ever forget neil Maddison being played up front at Blackburn? Why can't people see......last season we escaped relegation by the skin of our teeth on the last day. We then lost several players and have been left with crap like BWP, Euell, Skacel and Saganowski on huge wages which meant we could not do much. The more senior players have come in and have been, quite frankly, a disgrace.

None other than Carlos Slim Helú. Apparently he is worth $35 billion and has followed Saints for some time as he thinks we are a sleeping giant with the greatest fan base and thinks we should be challenging for Champions League football. Apparently, he also wants to introduce Mexican food to the concourses to improve our catering. Supposedly this guy is in advanced talks to buy Saints - not only is he up against Mukesh Ambani but also some Americans by the name of Walton (who I believe own WalMart) and the founders of IKEA. Who wants a billionaire??

oh purleasssssee. An unknown poster on the TUI makes 1 statement and then many, many folks start wetting their pants over a completely unsubstantiated rumour. Do people not learn from experiences of the past.............
-
Looked quality pre-season but does not appear to play for the Reserves or U18's. Is he injured or is there some other story?
-
Some time ago when we were playing very young players there were huge shouts to play the more experienced players. Well this has happened and we've reverted to long ball crap and the experienced players are pretty much awful. On Saturday we had a wealth of experience in the side (not that you'd have known it): Davis Perry Seijs Skacel Wotton Euell Saganowksi For all Arizona's comments about Saga, he has been absolute crap once his goal scoring 'spree' ended and couldn't hit a barn door. For me I would have Mills over Skacel (what is it with the love in with Skacel: he's crap) Schneiderlin over Wotton Paterson/BWP over Saganowski and possibly Lancashire over Perry/Seijs. Now instead of being promising, easy on the eye crap we are just plain old crap and one dimensional!

I know of some (fairly) wealthy Saints fans that have been trying to put something together (on and off) for the past year. One of the guys I know personally and he is a great bloke - by all accounts, dealing with the complexity of the share holdings and feuding parties made it just too difficult to try and do any deal. I have no doubt that this guy is busy trying to put something together right now - a genuine nice guy and a massive Saints fan.

Wish I could say I was astounded at some comments on here (you know who you are) about how great it is we are in admin, we have our club back, etc but I'm not. Just wondering why there are heroes (Crouch & McMenemy) and then the obvious pantomime villains (Lowe and Wilde). Quite frankly, until the club is shot of all baggage (Lowe, Wilde, Crouch, McMenemy - the whole bloody lot of them) we'll never be able to move forward. They're all villains in my book, carryng out petty squabbling and pointless point scoring and fiddling whilst Rome was burning. Lowe made big mistakes, Wilde lied about investment, Crouch made fundamental errors of judgement and lied......quite frankly they are all as bad as each other and we need to be shot of all of them. Also didn't realise that Crouch worked for the Administrator....he seems to pop up everywhere saying 28 days left, hands in the pocket, etc, etc.

This is plainly baloney. A lot of what is being decribed on here is called a 'phoenix pre-pack'. The company I work for has just gone through this and it is quite a stressful experience. If anything like this happened we would get a 10 point deduction - assets are brought from an administrator (even if it is 5 minutes after entering administration). Some pre-packs are for the right reason (unjust court case sueing for money they know the company has not got) whereas a lot appear to be morally (if not legally) wrong. A good example being an IT company called Infonic. At the end of the day a lot of small creditors will take a hit in this scenario. Can't see how the FA would even sanction this.

If what Stu ha sposted is incorrect I hope he is held accountable. I'm sick to death of no marks on here spouting lies and slander as though they were fact. I am surprised that many of you look in the mirror - you wouldn't like what you saw. Pathetic, childish and does go to show that we have some (note the some) fans that are not what we need.
-
Great fans.................... A bit of perspective is needed and maybe some of the hysterical kids on here should think about that a bit more...........
-
WHo gives a monkeys arse what you think Alpine? Even if we were top of the Prem you'd still find something to moan about. Right now, the club needs everyone pulling in the same direction - we must be close to financial meltdown and as opposed to the 3 stooges fighting each other at least if they are trying to work together it will be for the good of the club as opposed to their egos.

David Armstrong called for a boycott by the fans last night
washsaint replied to derry's topic in The Saints
As ever, making a futile gesture and not having one single, meaningful idea as to how to CHANGE the currently broken club. And if anyone says 'Lowe going will make things better' - absolute, 100% crap! Didn't happen last time did it? By all means, put forward a real, bona fide proper plan for taking the club forward - but to just call for the Boards head is pure, absolute madness. And please don't say Croouch and McMenemy are the answer. They, like Lowe and co, are part of the problem not the solution.
