  1. I cannot believe anyone would think we can still stay up. We have been doomed for months - this is one of the worst Saints teams (and squads) I can ever remember (going back to the 70s). In years gone by (when we were at the Dell) we nearly always struggled but had a team with heart that always tried. This lot are like the lion and tinman from Wizard of Oz combined: no heart and no courage. And we are pathetically weak in front of goal and in defence. Anyone bigging up Che Adams is nuts: some of his misses have been quite incredible. I think we will struggle in the Championship next year and have no confidence in SR suddenly getting their decisions right after so many epic failures.
  2. Agreed - and it is clear where the 5 at the back nonsense came from in pre-season - according to the Athletic (who are rarely wrong) that is an Ankerson thing together with the direct hoof ball. To date, they have been a disaster for this club. A while back Adam Blackmore tweeted something similar - saying under Gao there was not much cash but everyone knew their role and we made steps forward whereas under SR the whole model seems to have been turned on its head. The most worrying thing is this multi club nonsense and pooling of resources.
  3. Funny how all these people leaving (and according to our uber fans are not good enough anyway) are going on to bigger and better things. Anyone who has any confidence in the charlatan that is Ankerson is deluded. Every decision so far seems to have been horribly wrong. very worrying times
  4. What a load of nonsense. Our club is in a right mess and it seems that Ankerson/SR are the main architects of that mess. We are losing a lot of good people and when Crocker announced a few months back he was leaving that was a blow.
  5. Ripping Norwich U23s apart - yet neither can get even on the bench for our s***e 1st team with dross like Moi and the Armstrongs preferred. It sounds like we may lose the best of our youngsters coming through - the pathway has been blocked by dross and this reflects really poorly on Ankerson and the club as a whole. Our club is rotten to the core
  6. Unfortunately, I don;t see any 'dream scenario'. The malaise at our club runs deep and SR have got every big decision wrong to date. I know folks think we'll walk the Championship but with this squad absolutely no chance
  7. Hoping to see some of our Academy starlets get an opportunity (if they have not left). Hopefully never seeing moi in a Saints shirt again. However, with our pathetic squad and Sr in charge I fear the worst for next season too
  8. I don;t understand the dislike of Selles. He has done as well as anyone else would do with this shower of s***. We have not scored goals since Ings left and we just don't create chances or have players who can make a difference in the final third. A few weeks ago it was 'STuart Armstrong should be playing', 'Caletta CAr shoulde be playing' and then they do and are utter, utter s***e. We have a terrible squad and no manager could make any difference with the tools at his disposal. That being said, we have to be braver and try and win games. Alcaraz, Suleman, Tall Paul should be starting every game
  9. Interesting we get a result and the difference between recent poor results and this is there are no 'senior' players in the team.
  10. Who gives a rats arse? We wasted 30 million when we had a player who is as good, if not better, than the 2 signed to play as wingers. 20+ million for Sulemana. We was mugged
  11. And yet the lad was deemed not good enough for our s%%$$$of a side. Unbelievable...around 30 million frittered away on 2 players that are hopeless (Edozie and the other winger)
  12. Agree with that, but some of the teams in front of us are in really bad form (Leicester, West Ham, Leeds, Forest). If we can continue our improvements under Selles (7 points from 4 games if I am not losing my mind, which is possible) we could get to 36-38 points which I think will be enough this season. That does depend on us being able to put the ball in the back of the net though. It's infuriating we wasted those winnable games with a useless plonker that was out of his depth from day 1. Let's hope Selles continues to keep us well organized
  13. OMg - that Reading game! I remember that really well. Under Souness, if memory serves me right, and what an awful, spineless display that was on a miserable day overall.

    U18s

Dunno - but he has had to be flown to the US for a knee operation
  15. Calling BS on this one. Our players are a bloody disgrace with no passion, plan or discernible talent. They would look terrible in the Burnley side as their players are committed, know what they are doing and have a manager who knows what he is doing.
  16. These b*******ds are not fit to wear the shirt. ANd Selles must take a huge amount of flak for his decisions last 2 games. Is he the messiah or just a naughty boy......
  17. Rubbish - the thing that will contribute most to us going down is being unable to score goals or any creativity. 2 goals in open play in 10 games now isn't it? People keep bleating on about Stuart Armstrong but he has been garbage for the last 18 months or so and is a complete liability. Che Adams could not hit a barn door at 6 yards and Adam Armstrong....... While Bazanu has been poor our real problems (for the last 2 years have been in creating and scoring goals. We are garbage in all areas and are deservedly going down.
  18. What does it matter? Does not matter who we have in goal - we could not score in a brothel. And that's where the real problems lie. Zero creativity and garbage like Adams and Armstrong to miss chances when we do get them.
  19. I feel for the lad - the pressure on him is immense as we are so s***e anytime the opposition scores it's game over as we don't create chances and when we do cannot convert them. Our whole squad is so unbalanced and low on quality. The clown Bednarek did him no favors today,
  20. Stuart Armstrong is not even worth a place on the bench and McCarthy is garbage. Armstrong has been terrible for 18-24 months. But then so has pretty much the whole team. Not convinced Selles is the answer - but noone could get a tune out of these charlatans
  21. what a load of s***e that was. Bazanu (despite the clown Bednarek blocking his view) should save that every time. But not a single attacking threat the whole game. Garbage team and end of the season cannot come soon enough. This team is down.
  22. OMG - wtf is that team selection? Bednarek, Moi, Mailand-Niles? Oh dear.........
  23. Absolutely terrible appointment by a smart arse who thinks he is so much smarter than anyone else. The warning signs were there when it was announced Crocker would be leaving at the end of the season. Terrible manager, completely unsuited to the Premier League and clearly not a leader - not his fault he was appointed. But continuing with 5 at the back against 10 men was unconscionable. And the players should be ashamed of themselves. For far too long they have been s***e - lets not forget how many defeats we had prior to Jones being appointed. But Jones playing Bednarek (amongst other serial underperformers) beggared belief and he lost the fans from pretty much day 1. A very dark period in the history of SFC and who is going to want to come in an manage this s*** show with, no doubt, plenty of interference from the oh so smart one?
  24. Benitez is dogs****e. We need someone who can fix us. Lord knows who that is. And planning for the Championship should be starting now as we are gone
  25. Bednarek is so s***e
