  1. Basingstoke or Seattle Regan? go for the USA mate! i loved my short time working there. i'll email you tomorrow but we mght be opening in New York if that floats your boat
  2. maybe we should join the "new" Euro then, if all the workshy European companies have been booted we can dominate the economic world!!! this has nothing to do with the fact that I'm routinely mistaken for a german
  3. Surely, Surely, with a sum of money this small one of the players can settle it on behalf of the club. Or Lumpitt or Storrie.
  4. Eric, ping me an email, could be worth a chat. I'm Jim at Sceneric (you'll find the email in the site somewhere). My mate Simon Nixon did the IA for the Man City site with Aqeduct. They made him collect the award. He is a massive Man Utd fan!
  5. A mate of mine does Man City's award winning website btw so if NC is listening I can put you in touch
  6. Chaps, there will be a new website this summer. My company Sceneric helped FLi choose a new web supplier: http://bit.ly/o7LAL5 and it's on it's way. I'm not close enough to it to know exactly when, these chaps are doing it: http://sape.client.shareholder.com/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=605828 Perform will still do the video and audio streaming. It's not a 99 year contract. Best part for me of this whole thing is visiting FA / FL / Premier League HQ - it's a blast signing in behind baby Fergie in a sadly pathetic way. Was wishing I had a Chaplow Saints shirt on that day
  7. Can I weigh in with being chuffed when I saw the waterfall sonar we'd worked on on Hunt for Red October.. Not as macho as escaping drowning mind you

    I love.

    yep!
  9. very emotional day today as this season was my mum's last. she went into a coma last August and thought she was dreaming when she came round and I told her we were top of the league. battled through to January but died during our bad run. not surprisingly the watch story has filling up. I don't really believe in an afterlife, but love the thought of Markus, my mum, Ted, Bally, Darren's mum etc. watching the game from a celestial Dell. back to the Moet!
  10. I'm staying at the hotel on the edge of his housing estate Monday night - I'll go for a walk / stalk
  11. Hey mate, My mum died in January and the evening of the funeral I watched us collapse against Leicester from her season ticket seat - not a great day (sat in it again last Friday night as well FFS). I know what you're going through fella, chin up. Funeral was the hardest part for me, then I threw myself into work, now thinking about it more and more again. Happy memories more than the memories of cancer now though - and supporting my old man who bless him is still at SMS every week. Good luck mate.

  13. I win. Seen 4, won 1, lost 3. 1 of which (Leicester) was the day of my mum's funeral. then tonight. don't worry, I'm never f***ing going again......
  14. We had 19 shots tonight, 12 on target. They had 6, 4 on target. I thought we dominated large parts of the game but Reading basically caught us on the break and through stupid mistakes by individuals. Need to win the next 3 I think. Come on Brighton & Birmingham.
  15. bad. and I'm going tomorrow
  16. **** it, it's got to be better than Pearce and frankly, I don't give a ****
  17. Will be the only trip to Wembley I'll ever make with my mum as she died in January (I sat in her season ticket seat on the day of the funeral to watch Saints vs Leicester - not a great end to the night...). Not ashamed to admit I got a bit emotional today when I realised it was the final - the day itself was superb and much as I *far* prefer Adkins to Pardew, I credit Alan with doing exactly what he said he would do - returned a winning mentality to the club when it was sorely lacking after years of winning naff all.
  18. Spiderman is reserve keeper during a game apparently
  19. My wife used to work in the same hospital as Abi Titmus. I've spanked a few out over "what could have been" I can tell you
